I don't own this product but another one from the same company - a Roku R1000 internet radio.
We loved the product while it worked but recently the power supply died after less than 2 years. Of course it's out of warranty and the company won't even respond to questions on how to send it for repair. Look at http://forums.rokulabs.com and you will find many other customers with exactly the same problem - some of them are now talking about filing a class action lawsuit. Although my experience was with another one of their products, not this one, ask yourself: Would you want to buy a product from a company which has a track record of selling a faulty product and not making amends to their customers?

Rated 2 Stars"WARNING - this book is poorly edited!" 2009-05-14
I just taught an undergraduate class using this book and I would NOT recommend it to other instructors. It looked good when I decided to adopt it for my class because it integrates a lot of cutting edge research, but teaching with it is a mess because it is so poorly edited.

Students thought it was wordy and did not clearly state the most important findings. They got very confused while studying for tests.

Core theories such as socioemotional selectivity theory or selective optimization with compensation are briefly mentioned at multiple locations but never discussed in detail.

In several cases, definitions in the glossary are inconsistent with those in the text (e.g., "longevity").

Sections of the book contradict each other. At least one graph is duplicated and the legend of some graphs contradicts the findings shown in the figure itself (see, for example Box Figure 10.2a).

Also, some terms are just plain wrong. For example, Super's penultimate stage of career development is called "deceleration" not "declaration" (page 338).

The whole chapter on mental health is a mess. It relies a lot on a study by Kessler et al, examining lifetime prevalence of mental disorders. Lifetime prevalence is not that interesting for life-span development. It would have been much more helpful to have data on one-year prevalence. Also, some sections of that chapter seem out of place (e.g. the paragraph on personality risk and mental health on page 137).

Also, I was sorely missing a chapter on research methods and had to make up my own material to cover that important topic.

Finally, don't bother downloading the PPT slides the publishers provide for instructors. They are not very helpful (almost no graphs, just a bland summary of the content)

Overall, a nice attempt at integrating up-to-date research, but the poor editing makes it difficult to work with.

Prenuptial Agreements: How to Write a Fair and Lasting ContractPrenuptial Agreements: How to Write a Fair and Lasting Contract
Rated 5 Stars"great introduction and hands-on guide" 2007-04-06
In my opinion, everybody should have a prenup because the process of drafting one teaches couples how to talk about money - and invaluable asset in their marriage to come.
We used this book to plan our prenup before our marriage in 2005.
It gives you all the relevant information, helps you consider all the important points, and alerts you about differences across states etc.
We still used lawyers to bullet-proof the agreement, but knowing exactly what we wanted greatly cut down on fees. In fact, my lawyer commented that she rarely had such a well-prepared client and the draft of the agreement was the fairest she had seen in years.
