 | The Amityville Horror |
 | "Quite Good, if you have the right Perspective." | 2004-10-24 |
Ok many people complain about this recording not being the original soundtrack. Granted it is not, having said that there are many times that if one did not have the original playing during the contemporary recording, one could not tell the difference.
Being an artist, and into new forms of stimulation, I found Lalo Schifrin's score to be quite amazing from a assortment of different sounds, point of view. Even in daylight the music has quite affect over the senses. This score is quite a treat, but be warned there are times when it is extremely loud and difficult to follow the basic melody structure. With that said, I was reluctant to get into this recording but as time went on it became a cd that I play quite often. This recording captures the feel of the movie and in my estimation the feeling inside the book. If you seek music that gives the world a certain glow, mystery and etheral quality this I suggest you buy this cd.

 | Original Soundtrack, Various Artists - Soundtracks - 1999 - Sweet & Lowdown: Music from the Motion Picture |
 | "Smooth from start to finish" | 2002-09-21 |
I fell in love with the movie but nearly died when I heard this incrediable soundtrack! Sweet&Lowdown is original and fresh, the music is steady and sweet all the way through. From numbers like Sweet Georgia Brown to UnfaithFull Woman. Its a record that covers some great music in American history. This is an album worth every dollar! Buy it you won't regret it.

 | Original Soundtrack - Buffalo 66 |
 | "Good Movie, even Better Soundtrack!!" | 2001-02-10 |
This is one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard, artsy yet proper for the film. Music is the very soul of every motion picture and Vincet Gallo's work on the Buffalo 66 soundtrack is as powerful as his acting in the film. The majority of the soundtrack's music has a very blue yet flowing quality to it that I have only seen since The Million Dollar Hotel Soundtrack. If you enjoy staring at nature or just anything while listening to some simple music, then this album is for you. It's a shame more people don't like this album, I recommend everyone at least listen to the album.
