Makes good coffee, but I think I could make something for much less that works just as well. The filter included clogs very easily. It takes 1 pound of coffee to make 1 decanter and I still mix it about 50/50.
The coffee is much smoother and lower in acidity, but I think some people will miss the bitterness and acid that is usually assocaited with coffee.

Was difficult to get assembled and once assembled didn't work too well. Parts were cheap flimsy plastic. Not how I remembered it when I was a child.
