I've used a panasonic linear for over 15 years. In this time, I've had 2 (still on my second now). When I bought my second about 2 years ago, I also bought the latest greatest rotary and did a side-by-side comparison because the rotary advertisments are so compelling.
No comparison. I won't bore you with the details, but the linear is superior in every way. Speed of shave, closeness of shave, quickness & hold of charge, and cleaning. Don't even think about a rotary, I'm 100% sure you'll love the linear. Get a wet/dry - - these are great for the shower which gets the shave very close to a blade when used in with soap & water.
