Yes, at first I was having reception problems but as I read here and elsewhere either get an antenna or (the free way), simply plug in those earbuds (had a junkie pair in the drawer), into the 1/8" antenna jack and viola, I had great reception! Got this at an incredible "used and new" price here too...was too cheap not to buy myself a little Xmas present! Cheers!

1. Great price here in 'Marketplace". 2. Paired the fastest out of any Bluetooth device I own. 3. Came in a nice deep blue and not the ugly greenish color thats on the amazon site. Really don't have anything bad to say.

Really don't have anything bad to say. I have to make an addition to my original review... This IS a great BT mouse ONLY when it works. After a few minutes it goes to sleep its got to find the computer all over again sometimes taking a few minutes...real nightmare! And forget it when you start/wake your computer...you will be sitting there for a few minutes. This things SUCKS DOWN THE BATTERIES like no ones business. I've tried rechargeable and regular...about the same, couple of days at best. All-in-all... I'd be peeved if I paid the full price for this thing, but I got a great deal...but, you get what you pay for. if I could change the star rating I'd give it a 3.

I ordered this product when I saw that it works on Apple. I have a Miglia, which is great, but it's SD. The WinTV does work, sort of, but I only get 6 stations, and the ones that I get are a little jerky, stuttery, and suffer from macro-blocking quite often. This is not due to lack of power...I have a G5 2 GHZ dual processor with 4 GB RAM. I'm not sure, but it may be due to weak ATSC signal strength, although I tend not to believe that as I am only a few miles from Albany NY, but who knows. Anyway, it's just a little too much of a sacrifice to cut all of my cable channels in order to get the very few HD ones that I get. I should say that the ones that do come in clearly are incredible...if I could get say 10 or there abouts in like those couple, this would get 5 stars.

I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with this setup. I have a Mac G5 with a toslink (optical digital) out. I went from an RCA HTIB system with an optical in (which was nothing but trouble!) to this, and the experience has been like night and day! I've had several Logitech products in the past and have always been very satisfied with them...in fact a Bluetooth headset was broken a week or so after I got it and they sent out a new, more expensive version the same day I called! Anyway... As my computer is my main entertainment center now, I finally made the step up to these...it was the best move I've made in a long while!

I've had this "system" less than 6 months, and it's already pooping the bed. I bought this for it's optical input for use with my Mac G5 (didn't want to put out the cash for Logitech Z-5500...ended up buying them anyway), and at first it sounded great. Decoding digital movies was pretty good, and every day analogue was fine. But under 6 months and this thing just stops working, freezes, is all I can say it does, forgets it's settings, the remote ceases to work... Do yourself a favor and avoid this junk.

I really like this receiver, but in the description it should be a little clearer about the limitations of connections. I am not able to hook up my existing JVC tape deck OR my JVC CD changer (the CD I ended up hooking up through the TV inputs, but no digital). Also, the sound settings keep getting erased after being turned off, and I have to go through the whole sound-settings ALMOST every time! VERY ANNOYING! Those things aside, This receiver has GREAT, GREAT sound! Lot's of power. Versatile settings, and 7.1 sound. I watched a THX encoded movie the other night and it was great! I would have given this at LEAST a 4 (maybe a 5) if only this thing would memorize the darn settings!!!

I had a set of SE 5's (I think they were the predecessors of the original AM 5's years ago, but I may be wrong), and they were great, but when I read the reviews here I wasn't so sure about the AM 5's, but I ordered them anyway. I was very tired of having my nice but HUGE Yamaha towers dominating my living room. Well I was NOT dissapointed at all! I don't know if the reviewers that gave a negative review actually had the speakers (I tend to think they did not), or had a hearing impairment, but these things are INCREDIBLE! They also are not a set of $10,000 Martin Logan towers! They are what they are, a VERY modestly priced sub/sat system. Very recommended!
