 | PUR CRF950 Replacement Water Filter |
 | "Exactly as Advertised" | 2009-04-21 |
Unlike many people who have ordered this product, I got exactly what I wanted. It fits my large PUR DS-1800Z 2 Stage Water Dispenser perfectly. Though the dispenser is a bit large for my mini-fridge, it works perfectly. I recommend the large dispenser if you drink a lot of water and a refill source is not close at hand. These filters take even the most unappealing water and make it quite tasty. Definitely worth it.

 | Western Digital 160 GB USB 2.0 Passport 2.5" External Hard Drive (WDXMS1600TN) |
 | "Had issues" | 2009-04-06 |
When the drive works, it works well. I had issues with the drive not spinning up, though this was due to power limitations on the hub I had it plugged in to. Even USB Hubs that advertise USB 2.0 Compatibility do not guarantee that they will supply the amount of power required by USB 2.0. This means that this hard drive will not work for you. This hard drive requires 1 amp at spin up, most USB hubs provide at most 500mA per port, or half of what this drive needs. I had other problems where it would spin up for a few seconds, long enough for windows to recognize it as a drive and ask about autorun, then shut down. It would go through this cycle for hours if left unattended. This would result in hundreds of autorun windows open on my computer. Other issues I have seen with this drive are transfer rates dropping to 0 and clicking sounds. I have yet to lose any data and it still works so I can't complain too much.

 | Wii Madcatz Component Cable |
 | "Works as Advertised" | 2009-04-06 |
Keeping in mind that the Wii isn't HD in any way shape or form, this cable does its job. My only complaint is that my Wii is about 36" from the TV hookup, so all this extra bulky wire is annoying. There are plenty worse things that could be wrong with it. Take your 480p and run with it. (Cross your fingers Nintendo goes with HDMI next time)

 | JVC MXGT700 Compact Stereo System |
 | "My System" | 2004-09-15 |
This system is amazing, not only are the speakers extremely well built, but the bass is exceptionally powerful. I live in a dorm room at college and if you want to knock stuff off the shelves in your RA's room down the hall with the bass, then this is one of the systems to go with. Although I have found that with my laptop output set all the way up, the system will not pass about volume 22 without starting to get major degridation in the sound quality. If you want a nice loud, powerful stereo for cheap, this is the way to go, to add some extra mid to hi range sound, I suggest buying a pair of 130watt minimum cheap speakers, such as car speakers and hookinh them in, because sometimes in songs with alot of bass, you loose alot of mid-range and hi-frequency sound. Other than that I love my system, my roommate hates it. And my RA tells me to turn it up cause he can't hear the music, just the bass.
