Why oh why do people spend $50, $80, even $100 for earphones? For the very sane sum of $15 or so I get very decent sound. Okay, this is not audiophile sound, but I'm walking the streets of New York City where noisy vehicles and nearby conversations constantly intrude. There's no way anyone can possibly listen at audiophile level in that environment. On the earphones themselves, I could not get the foam pads to stay on and they consequently do not lock in place 100% of of the time. For the most part, however, they stay where I put them and I hear every note, every instrument and every song perfectly. The coil device to store the cord is a waste when you can simply wrap the wire around your iPod or MP3 device.

All I had to do was plug the receiver into the USB slot on my iBook and press the little button. This mouse has worked perfectly ever since without incidence, without the necessity of additional software. The action is smooth, no jumping or skipping. After startup I sometimes have to encourage the mouse along with a slight touch on the computer's touch pad. But that isn't a complaint at all. I love the compact size and ability to store the receiver inside the mouse when travelling between home and job. It's perfect.

After reading tons of info, checking critics' recommendations and comparing monitors online, I went to check them out at a CompUSA store. After seeing some of the monitors and brands the critics like, many of the monitors appeared similar with only vague differences. Except this Sony. It outshined all others by a wide margin. There are two Sony models that have the same frame, so be sure you look at the one with the "XBrite" technology because it's very different. I have never needed the height adjustment and wires are totally unobtrusive. This was a plug and play unit, no adjustments were necessary (I changed the pre-sets, but went right back). So far, after about a month living with this monitor I can't say too many good things about it.
