| CardScan Executive v8 | ||
![]() | "What a time saver! Easy to use and install." | 2009-04-08 |
| I network a lot to promote my product and services. Before I bought the CardScan, the cards would pile up; the thought of typing cards into Outlook was a boring chore that never got done. Now, in less than 10 minutes, I can take an evening's worth of cards and get them into Outlook and my phone. The scanning and OCR is extremely reliable for such an inexpensive device. (I used to develop OCR applications.) There are some cards and fonts that don;t scan well, but thta is to be expected. All in all, anyone in sales, marketing or any position where collecting a lot of cards is important should have one. | ||
| SanDisk Sansa e250 SDMX4-2048-A70 2 GB MP3 Player - Black | ||
![]() | "Great value, but takes a little getting used to." | 2009-04-08 |
| The SanDisk Sansa e250 is a great little mp3 player. I bought one for my 10 yr. old who wanted an iPod. I wasn't ready to risk her losing or breaking a $100+ item. I ripped her favorite CDs using Windows Media Player and she was ecstatic. The FM radio and microSD slot clearly set it apart from an iPod. She likes the radio. She would like a couple more videos, but the software that converts videos "breaks" Windows Media Center, so I can't run it. (Sansa should fix this long standing bug.) The only "clunkiness" is Windows Media Player, not the SanDisk. Microsoft outdid itself with such a poor user interface and experience. All in all, you can;t beat the price. | ||

![]() | "Quick, Easy -- Problem Solved" | 2009-04-08 |
| My cable/internet provider (AT&T) supplies a wireless 4 port router. I needed additional direct connections, so I bought this switch. I plugged it into the router and moved a couple of my direct connected items to the switch. Problem solved... no hassles, no configuration, no problems. | ||
| Netgear SPH-200D Dual Mode Cordless Phone with Skype | ||
![]() | "A great Home Office line." | 2009-04-08 |
| I work from my home and needed a second line. I also use Skype alot to talk with associates overseas. When I heard about this phone, I thought I would try it. It has been working out quite well. It plugs right into my router and works fairly reliably. (It occasionally resets and loses connection.) Associates can call and I no longer need to fumble for my headset. The computer doesn't have to stay on all the time. I went ahead and got a SkypeIn number. Now anyone can call me, not just Skype users. I am pleased with this. | ||

Setting it up was easy and it connected to out home network without a hitch and recognized shared drives and printers. She loves it! Buying it on Amazon was easier than going to the store. | ||

| I had an iPod cover shipped to me with an iCover branding though it was listed as an iSkin, more specifically an iSkin iCover. I am assuming that it is a knock-off. | ||
