 | Invicta Men's Automatic Pro Diver S2 Watch #8926 |
 | "6 Weeks Old & Leaking Water" | 2009-08-07 |
I actually bought the battery powered version but because I had already given it a review, it won't let me add another review. I have had the watch 6 weeks. It is now leaking. I saw moisture on the inside of the crystal and after closer inspection saw water rolling around inside of the watch. The warranty required me to send $25 shipping and insurance and it cost me another $10 for shipping and insurance to send it to Invicta. I have over $100 into the watch. I checked the pin and it was screwed down tight and I never took the back off as it came with a working battery. It is a great looking watch and the battery powered version I got kept great time. But, leaking water after 6 weeks is unacceptable. You might want to look elsewhere. And, I don't know if it's even going to be repaired properly.

 | Invicta Men's Pro Diver Quartz Watch 8932 |
 | "Nice Watch, Great Price" | 2009-06-24 |
This watch arrived with a band that was big enough for King Kong. I took it to Wal Mart and the nice lady had a little tool and unscrewed the little screws, took two links out and voila, it fit great. It looks great and keeps great time. Oh, by the way, I got the quartz model. It comes in a self-wind model but all the reviews said it was too heavy and didn't keep good time. I guess if you want a quality self-wind skin diving watch, buy a Rolex. The watch and band are quality made and all the metal appears to be stainless and very durable. No fake gold color to rub off. It's a little heavier than my last watch but it wasn't even waterproof. I guess it has to be a little heavier to last under 600 feet of water.

 | A Twist of the Wrist 2: The Basics of High-Performance Motorcycle Riding |
 | "A Twist of The Wrist II will help your riding skills." | 2007-01-10 |
I read this book almost a decade ago and lost the copy when I lent it to a friend. I got a new bike recently and started locking the rear wheel a lot when braking. Since I lost my old copy, I ordered a new one. I expected it would be old and outdated and would offer very little help since I had already read it. The way it breaks down things into simple to understand points makes the book very applicable to actual riding. The only problem is finding a way to duct tape it to my handlebars so I can read and practice each point as it is mentioned in the book. Just kidding but it does make me realize there are a number of things I am doing wrong that can be easily corrected. This book takes the mystery out of riding and puts control back into your hands, or wrists, as the title says.
