	Shure SE530 Sound Isolating Earphones (Black)

As a long-time audiophile and gizmo freak, I'd been drooling over these earphones for quite some time now -- but had a difficult time justifying the price. I won't go into the technical details that are already echoed all over here -- but suffice it to say they are completely worth every penny when it comes to fit, comfort and sound quality. A bit of background: I'd previously been using the Shure SCL4's, with the primary use being when we travel. I say "we" because I got my (non-audiophile) wife to try them.....after which we purchased her a set that she uses every day during her commute on BART (train). Then when her father came to visit, I got him to try them. He immediately trashed his Bose Quiet Comforts and bought a set of SCL4's. Back to reality and the review of the SE530's. They are worth it -- even more so when you factor in the excellent price and shipping (plus sales tax situation) from here at Amazon. My final tip -- which is the end for the "whole story": Amazon is fantastic, and their system gives you choices of excellent vendors. When you are making product choices for a product as good as this, and the choices are all within a few dollars of each other -- it all boils down to customer service. I have used OneCall previously, and was very satisfied with their very quick shipping (never had to deal with any customer service issues with them). However I had some confusion (my problem, not theirs) and contacted OneCall's customer service to get it resolved. On a Saturday morning. I had a personalized response within less than an hour -- and couldn't be happier. So yes, this is an incredible product. What makes it even more worth it is a great vendor.

It's ultra lightweight, comfortable and stylish -- all at a great price. The only (small, niggling) drawback is that it's sometimes a little difficult to read in certain light situations, and not at all when it's dark as there's no luminescence on the dial. But hey -- it's a great watch for the price.

Ever feel like you snuck in on a truly great deal? This Oppo was it for me. I'm an audiophile who also enjoys home theater. But I've got to admit that I'm not up-to-date on the latest equipments and technologies. A very good friend of mine (who has WAY too much equipment) has been on me for about a year now to do some upgrading to my system, and he kept telling me about the Oppo. I thought the way he was talking about it that this would be something like a $500 or $600 upgrade. It's sad to say that these days there are so few products that even meet their claims -- but the Oppo far exceeded my expectations. A truly wonderful player at what I feel is a bargain price. There are enough posts here with all the technical details -- so I'll just put my two cents in for the "average" person who is looking for a superior player. Set-up took less than 10 minutes (could have been quicker, I'm a slow reader) and the result was nothing short of spectacular. (I'm using a Panasonic 42" plasma with a custom-built 5.1 sound system). HIGHLY recommended!

I've owned and operated my own auto repair shop for just over 25 years now, and we regularly need to jump a car for one reason or another. The first Schumacher charger I had lasted for 10 years before finally giving up the ghost. Not bad for something used as often and hard as this in a repair shop. I purchased two from here at Amazon over a year ago (the price was so good it made sense) and couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommended product.

With two cats in the household, I got tired of the old litterbox system and started to do some research (thank goodness for the internet) to see what was out there. A couple of friends had LitterMaids, but weren't completely satisfied with them. In my searching I located Litterbox Central -- a truly great resource for anyone looking to get/share info on all the different types of boxes out there. After reading the reviews there, and also here at Amazon, I decided to go with the Scoop Free from here at Amazon in December of last year. I wanted to give it a proper trial period before posting my review. The reasons I give it 4 instead of 5 stars: 1. The disposable cartridges are expensive, often difficult to find, and they leak after less than a week. I ended up hand-building my own tray from PVC (see reference to Litterbox Central above for complete details on how to make your own or to buy one) and am now completely satisfied. 2. Reality vs. advertising -- don't expect this litterbox to be completely "hands off" as the advertizing claims. While it's very, very good -- the best way to get the most of it is to do an occasional stir of the litter and to rake out excess poops from under the lid. Operative word is "occasional" -- maybe once every few days. It really helps, and is still worlds less trouble and smell than any other box I've found. And the two friends with the Littermaids? They now own Scoop Free's with PVC trays......... In summary -- very, very pleased with the Scoop Free.

This book is extremely well written -- clear and completely understandable for the novice, but won't bore the hell out of an experienced mechanic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ANY MIATA ENTHUSIAST WHO'S READY TO GET THEIR HANDS A LITTLE DIRTY AND TAKE THAT STEP TO WORKING ON THEIR OWN CAR.
