HP Photosmart C5180 All in One PrinterHP Photosmart C5180 All in One Printer
Rated 1 Stars"Worst product ever" 2009-04-15
This morning I placed my C5180 into the trash, and smiled as it was thrown into the garbage truck. This is the worst product I have ever purchased. After 1.5 years, the printer became completely inoperable - it constantly claimed that perfectly brand new, HP-branded ink cartridges were empty ... after sinking $50 into new cartridges, and replacing them, the messages remained, and I was unable to print anything. Multiple system resets and countless hours on the phone with customer service did not remedy the problem. Furthermore, I'm not the only one with these problems - some simple Google searches will reveal multiple people with "empty ink cartridge" issues. Throw in a completely over-engineered software bundle that slows down your PC and doesn't work under Vista (constant "HP Cue Service has stopped working" popups), unreliable scanning capabilities and the fact that this printer does not function as a network printer (under Vista) and you've got a massive waste of money. The customer service is terrible - the only solution they will offer you after 3+ hours on the phone is to purchase a new HP printer. I recently bought a Canon printer, as I have vowed to never purchase another HP product again. - the Canon works great. I recommend you stay away from HP products. Far, far away.

Rated 5 Stars"Great bang for your buck / dollar / Euro / Peso / etc." 2008-11-11
I travel for work, and require a personal computer while on the road (to pay bills, manage personal e-mail accounts, surf the web, etc.) The MSI Wind is perfect for what I need - it is small, has sufficient battery life, and is surprisingly capable (I installed Vista on mine, and it runs great ... but note, I installed an extra 1GB of memory, which definitely helps with Vista's performance - not sure what this does to my warranty, but I'm glad I did it) I have installed Macromedia Studio, Quicken 2007, and several other programs and the machine runs fine.

My only gripe is with the size of the 6 cell battery - it protrudes from the back of the case, making the PC a little thicker when closed. This is a trade off for increased battery life, of course, so it is easy to overlook.

The keyboard is great - a bit small, but I am able to type quite fast on it. Wireless capabilities are great, USB ports are sufficient, screen quality is great and the inclusion of a memory card reader was a nice surprise.

If you need an inexpensive, basic PC for travel, or accessing the web from the couch via wireless, this is a great, stable, dependable solution. I highly recommend.

Rated 5 Stars"Great backup device" 2008-09-09
Bought this hard drive to backup my PC before migrating to MS Vista (from XP) The hard drive installed easily (was automatically recognized by both XP and Vista), was faster than I expected, and performed seamlessly and flawlessly. Very happy with the purchase. The size of the device is very nice (approximately iPhone in size), making it easy to throw into a laptop bag - and the size is sufficient for mobilizing most any "My Documents" folder out there. I am very pleased with this device ... a bit more expensive than others, but is a perfect combination of performance, reliability and portability.

Sony PSP Star Wars Battlefront Entertainment Pack (Ceramic White)Sony PSP Star Wars Battlefront Entertainment Pack (Ceramic White)
Rated 5 Stars"Great value, worth the upgrade over original PSP" 2008-04-07
I bought this package because I wanted to upgrade to the latest PSP hardware to take advantage of the addition of Skype software (frequent trips abroad for business warrant a free and easy communication solution) The package included a great game - Daxter, and the Family Guy compilation. The hardware is upgraded vs. the original PSP: It is thinner, lighter, has a "smoother" feel (corners have been softened, and the back of the unit is now shiny, which has a noticeable difference in hand feel) The silver color is cool, and is less prone to smudge marks than the piano black version. If Skype were available for the original PSP, I would not have made the leap, but now that I have, I am very pleased with the additional feature upgrades I've received. I highly recommend this package.
