i just wanted to say that if the idea was to recreate the beatles experience,they should have included more instruments.the beatles werent just some run of the mill rock band,they were the greatest band in history.im just saying a harmonica would be cool for hits like "love me do".george harrisons sitar would be nice for songs like "norwegian wood".also,the beatles used violins a lot."elanoar rigby" is a fine example.and lets not forget the piano on timeless classics like "let it be","the long and winding road" and "hey jude". now that would rock!
	The Passion of the Christ [Blu-ray]

i will get straight to the point.this movie is 2 hours of jesus christ getting his butt kicked!he is beaten and tortured mocked maimed and humiliated the whole way through.i would definately never send a child to see this.there is little if any actual spiritualy helpful or enlightening information in here.unless simply to say "look at what he went through to save your sins".

in my earlier rambo part reviews i made a strong argument for a rambo movie set in nam.a no holds barred,down and dirty,taking blood and guts to a whole new level nam movie.well,THIS IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this movie does not contain any measurable boundries.there are rapes and even multiple child murders.it is down and dirty as it blows anything in the first 3 parts out of the water.it does take blood and guts to a whole new level.i think they put in slower parts just so this movie wasnt a 90 minute gore reel. they are in burma which i guess is like viet nam.they said the civil war there is the longest in history despite the fact that the one in ireland has spanned like 600 years. so this movie contains everything viet nam and is merciless.even "full metal jacket" would have trouble standing up against this one.so,what im really getting at is this.i said i wanted a viet nam movie that was brutal and merciless but now im wondering if that was such a great idea.so,i originaly gave this movie a 4 star rating but due to the mass child murders shown in full graphic form,i dropped it to a 3 star rating.now i know there are some gore finatics and horror nuts who get off on all of this.well,sickos of the world,this movie is for you!but,if you couldnt the first three parts,this one will traumatize you!

did you think the movie "an affair to remember"was horribly depressing"?how about the end of "one flew over the cuckoos nest?"or maybe when your pinata lost its will to live on "viva pinata"?or when e.t. is assumed dead?or when they shot old yeller?they are NOTHING in comparison to the utter heartache and lifelong sorrow this movie will invoke. it all starts with snoopy being taken away and the new owner wont let him go back.charlie brown is even more depressed than usual.the entire cast is balling thier eyes out.then it happened........... linus sang this song all about how comfort,happiness and trust are all illusions.how he never wanted to ever meet another person in his life because it was too hard to say good bye. this movie should come with a tag reading something like "this movie wont just make you sad it will make you want to kill yourself out of desire to rid yourself of incurable lifelong depression.if you insist on watching it anyway,stock up on the prozac and beer because you are gonna need it.this movie could reduce stonewall jackson into a wimpering child in a fetal position clutching its care bear.youve been warned!
	Grand Theft Auto IV [Xbox 360]

so,this is the next gta game,huh?first i would just like to say that the multi player games on this game can only work on your computer,which bites.there are also a few other gta games such as liberty city stories,lost and the darned and chinatown wars that dont let everybody play which is not only bad buisness but really sucks.but enough about that.this game,gta 4 is in the top 2 video games ever created.niko bellic is the main character who is a slavic x soldier who came to america to be with his cousin.they quickly get wrapped up in the criminal underworld.niko is cooler than previous mc's like tommy vercetti and carl johnson.there is a lot of character development also.at certain points in the game,niko can choose between 2 game altering choices thereby effecting the plot.the cars dont drive as smoothly as on gta san andreas but arent too hard to get the hang of.in car accidents,dont be suprised to see niko being hurled through the windshield.another great thing about this game is, while it keeps you on your toes,it isnt one of those games that require luck to win like san andreas.i beat this game in 3 weeks,but i did little else than play it.there are 2 cheat codes that are mandatory i think.the first one allows you to turn the cops off when they are chasing you.the cops on this game are more like soldiers.even on 2 stars,they are blood thirsty,bezerking,pissed off madmen.they can also follow you from above if youre trying to get away,making evading them difficult.the second cheat code allows you to refill your bullets and health.this is also a must have unless you are bullet proof.this is definately the best new gen game.its the best xbox 360 game.its the best gta game.so go get it!you are not getting the full video game experience if you havent played this iconic masterpiece!
	Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

this game,before i get started,is considered to be episode 3.5.that means it goes in right after the revenge of the sith and just before a new hope.at first you are darth vadar going genocidal on armies of wookies on kassshyyyk.then he finds starkiller and you become him.hes darth vadars previously unmentioned apprentice.most of the initial levels involve starkiller going about and assassinating the forgotten surviving jedis not killed in revenge of the sith like sha'ak tii.starkiller has incredibly powerful force powers such as force lightning powerful enought that it could bust a circuit in an entire space station and a force push strong enough to wreck ties and worse.starkiller ends up in a lot of messy places like nar shadda.the only thing i dont like about the game is how on each level you must abandon your force abilities and think youre way through a problem or boss.id vote this game as the sixth best star wars games yet.that would be behind the slew of lego star wars games and knights of the old republic 1 and 2.this is one of the only games ive bought in a long time that lived up to the hype.of course some j#$k w@d started a rumor that this game is not all that.the guys a hindrance to the futherment of mankind and a pathetic lost soul who is a bitter disappointment to his dad and mom.this game rocks.star wars rocks.and all these pompous a^^h&les who say different are just disgruntled losers.

this is a video game all about a wussie who calls himself an assassian hanging out in the old days and wasting people.you might ask did he do it for money or jewels or to get a sorcerer to take a hex off of his only brother?but no,he does it because this grouchy old man tells him to.the reason i called him a wussie is because he is always getting his butt kicked.not by dragons,goblins or ogres but by everyday guards.these guards will stomp your guts out for breathing or just about anything like that.so our wussie here usualy ends up running a marathon.he is not actualy expected to kill his attackers but kill the boss and then run away like a chicken with its head cut off.so what im getting at is this game was considered one of the greatest games of the year but that is the overstatement of the year because its slightly better than most games but not stellar.if you can get it cheap go with it.otherwise you are not missing much.

hey its starman!im back!hey this movie set is really cool.however,there are a number of scenes even seasoned horror buffs could find unerving,unless youre into that kind of thing!things such as...........eyes being ripped out,a psycho blind guy,abuse towards women-one is even pregnant at the time,and even assault on a coma tose uma thurman.nice for horror nuts and may cause life long terror to church goers.buy it!go ahead!but i warned you!.......
	Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

this game unlike its predecessers has more than 3 options of who to be.frodo and the hobbitts can come too.and some others.the graphics are old school and so is the game play.a great deal of team work is required to beat this one.i dont really recall the scenes in this video game being in the lord of the rings movie trilogy either.maybe they were.this game just lacks some of the pizazz of the two towers video game.i beat it simply because i beat the first two already.now i know i am talking bad on it,but for any dedicated lord of the rings fan,it is a must!its a good game,there are just better out there.oh and for all you guys who think lotr is the best movie set ever.......STAR WARS F'N RULES!
	Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance - Xbox

this mk game is easily the better of the 2 new mk games with the other being deception.the characters are far easier to obtain in this game.the levels can be frustrating but require simply skill and not so much luck.a whole plethora of awesome characters can be brought out.the new fighting styles grant you 12 really cool moves that are but a click or two away.you can use these and beat the entire game.only the ocd will actualy bother to learn the 200 button moves and the 219 click fatalities.they are cool but so not worth the effort.this game KICKS.........errrrr ummm well it kicks butt,man.go buy it!

yes,its true.the 3rd book from a 19 book series crawling along like a wounded deer.leia spends her time doing a whole lot of nothing.lord nyax still isnt around.han battles it out with the vong over esfandia.the jedis search endlessly to find a fabled living planet.jaina gets pretty banged up.a really cool part is when she attempts to perform psycho-surgery on tahiri,whose 2 personalities are battling for dominance.the vong began killing thier own for failing.assassians are after the jedis.i almost thought vergere was back.thank cerronious she was srill dead.she was ultra-obnoxious.the living planet has uncharted force powers.nom anor becomes a cult leader in a religious fashion and the higher ups find out.about the cult,they dont know its nom yet.anyhow hes getting the shamed vongs to think the jedi are good.tahiri swears a life debt to jaina solo.thats about all i can say.this book would be half as long if they took out all the politics and drama.i was disappointed by it as the book is one of the final 3 and it just drags.the parts with tahiri are cool.she really starts to blossom in this one.no light saber duels,only 1 battle and a ,lot of hoopla!
	Force Heretic II: Refugee

this book couldve been half as long had all the nonsense been cut out.theres a lot of politics and ceremonies and the like.i think the author was going for drama,but it came out more like over-detailed and uneventful.there are just certain things people have come to expect from anything star wars.like a light saber battle,a super weopon,the sith,ise of the main characteres in meaningful and interesting events.this book lacks all these qualities.you will,however,have to trudge through it if you are reading the series.now i will give you the low down.the good guys,for some reason,are looking for a living planet instead of fighting the vong.anakan solo is still dead.which still makes me mad.landos super cool droids arent around and niether is the coolest sith since darth vadar in lord nyax.heck,even han solo ,luke skywalker and thier families dont see much action.luke spends the book in a library.oh thats so cool.[ugh].all the real cool stuff happens in like the last 70 pages.there is a assassination attempt on someone important.so the other jedis,not in danger,gave to twart the attempt.i feel so sorry for poor old tahiri.shes not only hopeless about the future but severely depressed and now gas an alternate persona.my heart really goes out to her.nom-anor is hiding beneath coruscant trying to get the shamed ones to revolt.the good guys do find a planet full of droids powered by souls.a terrorist assassanation attempt gets an ok air battle towards the end.jacen solo spends most of his time in the library also.ho-hum.but danni expresses her true feelings for him.lastly,theres the living planet.it is said to ne inhabited by insects.theres dense oxygen.every 3 years a fire god burns up its surface.a prophetess from there is said to have created the force.the planet can jump through hyperspace also.thats all they find out in over 400 pages.they never did find the planet either.

	"the best gangster movie ive ever seen"	2006-09-27
i just watched and taped this movie from tcm.i really liked it.i thought,like many old movies it would be long and devoid of any action.boy was i wrong!all the events in the movie were based on real life happenings.it is set in a time where one of the biggest crime bosses just went down and 10 more are jumping in to take his place.so theres someone getting shot up in every scene!it was great!of course its done in a 1932 type way so you wont see any graphic violence gow we think of it today,but it was top of the line for its time.my favorite part is when the lead character is getting the building hes in shot to pieces and he looks up for a second at his shooters and sees their machine gun.and he gets really exited like a kid at x-mas and says"they got a machine gun you can carry around!i gotta get me one of those!".i think its the best gangster movie ive ever seen and yes i have seen "the godfather"
	Destiny's Way

in this one the author ties up loose ends mostly.he also ignores some of the cooker stuff happening from previous books from the series.anyhow,lando has created mouse droids to weed out vong secret agents.luke skywalker begins the new jedi council and his wife[and lets not forget former sith] is the 1st on it.princess leia goes to the empire for help vs the vong.i didnt see that one coming!jaina solo gets promoted to major.she also makes jedi knight,despite the fact she turned bad a few books ago.do the authors of these read the old ones ?i wonder!vergere is taken prisoner by the jedis.id like to see her killed off.she is so obnoxious!5 more ppl make the jedi council only one of whom was really in any of the previous books.the ever controversial kyp durron!2 books ago in the series they introduced a sith lord called lord nyax.what happened to him?why are we keeping all the dorks and killing or not using all the really cool people?there is a major thing i cant say going on with the vong.the bothans declare a state of "ak'rai" which means like genocide on the vong.a few more folks make jedi knights also.among them the heart broken tahiri,jacen solo-who was on the dark side a book or so ago.......................and lowbacca-a jedi wookie.i still prefer chewie.the vong structure is coming apart at the seams.jaina is promoted to lt colonel after a major feat.once again im not allowed to spill the beans.this book is interesting but really has little to do with previous books in the series.

the reason i chose to recomend this book is because i belive it is the only one which tells the truth about nazi germany.its really not "racist propaganda" as the school systems would have you belive but an account of a man who loved his country so much,he tried to perfect it.its basicly just a philosophy book.remember ,hitlers allies in ww2 were a half black man ,mussolini and the japanese leader.so,if you want truth,read this book.if you want a bunch of tree huggin hippie bs,read any other book on the matter.this book was the most widely owned book in the world in its day.if you cant handle the truth,steer clear.if you want the german equivelant of thomas paines's"common sense",then read it.

	The Will to Power

this book got ol fred in a lot o trouble.it was the "da vinci code" of his time or vice versa.its hardcore philosophy to most but i had no trouble with it.the 2 key phrases that stirred up all the stink were "god is dead" for obvious reasons.and"the world is a will to power and nothing besides and you are a will to power and nothing besides".its a great book.many people who were into philosophy read this like even down to the pop scene with jim morrison and paula cole.[everyone always says "who"?].she did the hit song "i dont want to wait".
	Dinky Hocker Shoots Smack!

this is a very charming tale of this mean girl who adopts this boys cat when his dad develops an allergy.he misses the cat so much he goes over to thier house all the time.one day dinky hockers[WHAT A NAME!]cousin same over and the boy and her fall in love.her name is natalia line.shes a schizophrennic who rhymes all her sentences and words when under stress.its a wonderful story that has a "to kill a mockingbird" like charm to it.not the bad stuff but the parts where the kids are just bein g kids.i fell in love with this story right away.it will always have a place in my heart.
	Bob Dylan - Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits, Vol. 2

the funniest thing ,i think, about this album is that it came out in the 90s.his 1st greatest hits album came out in 73.that was supposed to cover 73 and back.this new one sgould have picked up in 74 and went till its realease.however all the songs are oldies from the 60s,hinting maybe the 70s and 80s werent nearly as good.anyhow,theres "dont think twice its alright"-catchy."lay lady lay"-a beautiful love song."stuck inside mobile with the memphis blues again"-upbeat and catchy."ill be your baby tonight"-a sort of love dovey song abour a one night stand.only dylan!!!!!!!!!!"all i really want to do"-lyrical genius!"my back pages" is a song about reversing the aging process."maggies farm" is the dylan equivelant of "take this job and shove it!"."tonight ill be staying here with you" is good just like all the rest.ok disc 1 is down .now disc 2."she belongs to me" still sounds fine."all along the watchtower" is classic!then theres "mighty quinn the eskimo"-wtf???????????and "just like tom thumb blues".i guess they canr all be winners.then "a hard rain is gonna fall" a jim morrison like song but full of love like john lennon."if not for you"is singable."its all over now baby blue" is very pretty.then a few extras for space i think.this album kicks butt!
	Enemy Lines I: Rebel Dream

an "inner circle" is formed.a secret jedi society to take out the vong like the alliance years before.mara jades in before she goes to the jungle with tahiri[whom i feel sorry for every time i see her poor broken hearted name] and luke.luke is on the inner circle also since he did form it.they travel to coruscant to battle a dark side enemy luke sensed through the force.as if the vong werent bad enough now here comes the dark side back.han solo joins the inner circle.han has an idea about being a crime lord with leia.this book is really centered around wedge and his elaborate plan to nail the vong.wedge is in the inner circle as it was partly his idea.i cant really go into detail but the vong give coruscant a makeover.the battle in this book is ar borelia which is near corelia where hans from.jaina solo forms a force based air strike team called the twin suns under her command.a big risk since she almost got brainwashed and almost went dark side within the last book.jaina begins having depression due to all the losses shes endured.jag and kyp join jainas team.princess leia considers becoming a crime lord with han............so lets review wedge is the focus,inner circle is formed,and a big fight.

a new bad guy is on the loose-lord nyax.hes so bad he tries to get mara jade skywalker to hate,since hate leads to suffering,the last step to the dark side.luke goes to coruscant to find him.hes so bad ge tried to get luke to kill himself.the vong get out thier last jedi sniffing voxyns.and whatta ya know?they sniff lord nyax too.so i guess its high conbentrations of matachlorians they really smell.not that bothers him.i cant say all what he can do but he was conditioned from birth to be the most evil sith ever.nuff said?a high up person gets killed.they wont let me say who but at least hes a bad guy this time.sheeesh!the vong bring out an old favorite weopons employed by the hutts in the ever fearsome rancor!!!!!lord nyax is so bad he can cause whole communities to riot! of course im not telling all the real bad stuff.i cant say who,but someone commits suicide.also there will be a major turn in the war.wedge launches one of the biggest military assaults in history.a lot of cool stuff goes on.definately check it out.
	Bob Dylan - Bob Dylan

well this album is good as are all bob dylan-musical geniuses.the stand out songs are "i am a man of constanr sorrow".yes its the same one on the movie "oh brother where art thou?"im not a real big fan of the song "house of the rising sun".but i know a lot of people are so i mentioned it for you.theres a real old timey,pure folk tune called the frieght train blues"i really liked also.then he does a song for his idol in his pre-christian days who is woodie guthrie.its his 1st album.good but theres better out there.
	Bob Dylan - Oh Mercy
	"best album since planet waves in 74.this ones from 89"	2006-08-28
finaly!!!!!!!!!!!!!a dylan album with more than 2 really good songs on it!"where teerdrops fall" was exquisete!"everything is broken" was good to,but id wager he wasnt in a very good mood when he wrote it."ring them bells" is a church song i dont reach for the skip button on."what good am i?" continues this depressing decorum.the song "disease of conciet" makes him sound troubled too.perhaps he writes better when hes upset?then,as usual,he ends the album with a love song.this one is called "shooting star".no not the johnny and his guitar one either.a great album.his best in years.
	Bob Dylan - "Bob Dylan - Greatest Hits, Vol. 3 [US]"

i guess bob was tired od the critics and decided to remind them how good he is and so we got greatest hits vol 3.the opener is "tangled up in blue".it goes on and on about what im not sure,but musicly its sound."changing of the guards" goes on and on but with no stick.onto the rocking "the grooms still waiting at the alter".he says a line i think is funny on this one."she could be respectfully married or running a wh%re house in buenis aries".lol.then "hurricane",a true story about a frame job on a black guy.then the very touching "forever young".its one of my top 5 fave dylan tunes.since we are on the subject of greatest hits...heres my top 5....not in order......[mr tambourine man,forever young,blowin in the wind,standing in the doorway and all i really want to do].anyhow,the epic "jokerman" spins next.its wonferful.theres a couple so so songs called "dignity" and "sergio".dignity at least was trancendendant but segio just wasnt all that."ring them bells" is a listenable church song full of inspiration."gotta serve somebody" was rather redundant."series of dreams" was just weird."brownsville girl" is another one of those good but long songs rgar doesnt really seem to be going anywhere."under the red sky"was ok i guess.lastly there was "knocking on heavens door".this song was great but tragicly short and not even axl roses singing the chorus over and over a billion times changes that.a great album.if you count every live,best of and studio album,itd only be topped by greatest hits 1 and 2,bringing it all back home and blonde on blonde.
	Bob Dylan - John Wesley Harding
	"a let down from earlier albums but still good"	2006-08-28
i dont know who john wesley hardung is but he must be somebody because nes got an album named after him.ill cut right to it.this album is pretty average in comparison to anything hed done by 1967 with 2 glaring exceptions......they are "all along the watchtower" which is a great great song".jimi hendrix who is a fellow musical genius covered that one and the other is the love song "ill be your baby tonight".pretty plain and slower than you may be used to.
	Bob Dylan - The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan
	"one of his best"	2006-08-28
this album took bob dylan from folk singer to the voice of the 60s.1st off,"blowin in the wind" comes on.thats one of my top 5 favorite dylan songs.then the hits keep on keepin on with,"girl ftom north country".also a top 5 song,despite ges redo on a later album with johnny cash is way better.a few more then my moms favorite,"a hard rain is gonna fall".bob dylan really shows off his lyrical symbolism in this one.the great songs keep coming with "dont think twice its alright"-vintage dylan,man.a few songs later theres "corina corina",a love song.and no one writes a love song like bob dylan.theres 2 silly songs also where hes just playing with words called "bob dylans dream" and "i shall be free".a top 5 dylan album.
	Dark Journey

you can rell this was written by a woman right off the bat.the entire book is based around leia and her search for answers and jaina solo and her inner battle vs the dark side.its really sugary and emotional as compared to the earlier books.it reasd more like a futuristic romance novel than a sci-fi action thriller.SPOILER.......oh yeah and if that wasnt enough ol elaine cunningham didnt wait for troy denning to write again and had yet another big name killed off.I CANT SAY WHO .but man i know theres a war going on and all but whats with you guys and killing off all the cool people?arent the good guys supposed to win?this was a good book but nearly as cool as the rest of the series so far.at the end jaina solo still usnt completely dark or light.id like to see her go bad just because everyone expected anakan solo too and he didnt.
	Bob Dylan - The Times They Are A-Changin'

bob has just his voice,guitar and harmonica on this one.its one his earlier albums.the first song is the best one as he fights the man .the second song"ballad of hollis brown" us utterly depressing as a starving man kills his starving family and then himself."with god on our side" openly challeneges christianity.this was before,of course,he converted."only a pawn in thier game" sticks it to the man again.then a pretty love song comes by called "boots of spanish leather".then theres a few more songs here and there for filler.this is one of the early albums that got him his title as the voice of a generation.and after hearing it i would agree.
