| Even though Rambo isnt as young, slim, or fast as he was in the first 3 movies this was still a great action movie. It's violent as one would expect so its for older teens & adults only. I'm glad Stallone returned to make this film (and Rocky Balboa). I'd definitely recommend this, especially if you're a fan already. I saw it in the theater and when I left I was saying how I have to buy this when it becomes available. Looking forward to seeing it on blu-ray! | ||

| I used to always say Sony was overpriced, but I can't say that in this case. I waited for this to go on sale, just picked up for 79$ new at a local retailer. This is replacing a panasonic 1080i upconverter. This player pairs very nicely w/ my 1080p sony microdisplay.
First movie: Cars. Amazing picture quality & great sound! I love the small size of this unit, its also really quiet. I also considered a well reviewed Oppo player, but it was more than twice the cost of this. Set up was easy, took about 10 min. or so. Sony includes composite av cables (which should never be used for a DVD player). In my opinion, they should include an HDMI cable, which almost everyone buying this will use anyways - don't be so damn cheap, $ony! I'm glad they offer this player in black, as it matches the rest of my a/v equipment(the remote is silver though). The included manual is pretty good/ easy to understand. Personally, I would like to see better menu controls on the front of the unit say in case you lost or had a broken remote. I think the small blue light on the front of this unit annoys some people, it didnt bother me at all, I guess I just dont focus on it while watching a good movie. This player will hold me until Blu-ray finishes off hd-dvd for good and the players become smaller and prices become fair. Anyways, I highly recommend this unit. Sony does make quality dvd players. | ||

| ok, First off everyone knows this is a great movie, but considering how many times it has been re-packaged for DVD over the last 5 years, you know they will be doing the ol' double dip trick again now that it's come to Blu-Ray. This is the first (Blu-ray) release and, yes, a great price from amazon for sure. I'd wait for the unrated extended (152min) cut that's available now for cheap on DVD. Be warned if u buy this one, more versions will come. | ||

| This is a great movie and I'm happy to see it on Blu-Ray, it just sucks how the studio chose to not release the new unrated cut that you can get now on DVD. Oh, wait... yeah the ol' double dip trick is coming. Be patient and wait for the better version to be released...or get it now on DVD and save some money in the process. | ||

| 2005 Golden Globe winner for best TV series. I got lucky and got my copy on sale for 32$ new. It's so well made I'm surprised it's not on HBO, props to FX! Great acting, intense drama, controversial. It's TVMA so definitely not for any children under 18. Unrated, widescreen, 6 discs/complete 16 episodes including over 40 min. of unaired scences. 773 min. total The coolest show on TV, now on a DVD set...go get yours! | ||

| S.C. Pan. Tom. finally came to the PS2! Worth the wait when you consider the exclusive extras not found in the xbox & pc versions... including alternate pathways in some stages, ability to disable booby traps, post mission stats scoring screen, an all-new jungle mission, and listening to in-mission situation reports(via the USB headset, not included). I was able to buy the game on sale for just 11$ new from a local retailer. Don't worry, the beautiful graphics hold their own vs. the xbox version. Highly rated/Highly recommended. A must have for PS2 stealth-action fans. 1-4 players, rated teen for blood/violence/drug references, an "online" ready game. Nice job ubisoft and thanks for the extras! | ||

| This one was ranked 7th overall in a recent Consumer Reports issue(may '05 pg.28) and scored only "fair" in graphics quality. It's lower priced cousin, the Pixma iP4000, was ranked #2, overall score in the excellent range and designated as a "CR best buy". The 5000 actually tested slower than the 4000 in both text speed(ppm) and 4x6 time. Admittedly, the superior 9600x2400 res. is impressive as is the 1pl droplet size. The 5 color ink tanks are a bit misleading as 2 of them are black. Canon printers are the best so don't waste money on HP,Epson, & Lexmark.
To the reviewer below that stated that everybody uses 20 lb. paper, I use a "bright white" 24 lb. inkjet paper for everyday use (20 is too thin- better for fax & copy machines). Also, the reviewer incorrectly states the 5000 does not use the two black inks, in fact it uses the same ink tanks with 2 blacks(BCI-3eBK/6BK), just like the 4000. | ||

| TI's most powerful graphing handheld to date! Must have for serious college students. Being a computer science student unfortunately I have a ton of upper level math classes I have to get thru, including 4 Calculus & 3 Physics courses. Most of my classes (starting at college algebra) require a graphing calculator so the cheap scientific calculators do me no good. I looked at the TI-84 Plus Silver ed. but decided on the 89 titanium instead. I like the fact it includes 16 apps and finally comes with the USB cable needed to add more if desired. This is also an approved tool for a number of college board tests/exams. The only con to me is it's overpriced tag. You can buy optional colored faceplates and zip cases for it also. Now you're playing w/ power! | ||

| Currently, I own a couple Sony DVD players, but I also respect the Panasonic brand a lot. I've owned a lot of electronics by Panasonic and I've been very satisfied. The reviewers that like to use scare tactics in order to get ppl away from buying Panasonic are complete idiots. The fact is, as far as DVD players are concerned Sony & Panasonic are the 2 top brands for fewest repair history according to consumer reports. Panasonic's are generally the better value cuz Sony often likes to overprice their gear. This model was even just rated the #1 overall single disc model (see Dec. 04 issue pg.25). It achieved an overall score in the "excellent" range and their top marks in tests for picture quality & ease of use. It's an incredible value and ppl looking for a quality inexpensive player should definitely consider it. | ||

| This is my first USB thumbstick memory thingy, I'm glad I waited until the 1GB size was finally available. I got mine on sale for 60$ after rebate from a local retailer. This thing is great, according to the package it says "like having 704 floppies in your pocket" (wow!), 16 CDs worth of MP3 music, and 800+ High-Res. digital photos! USB 2.0 speed! It's very compact, about 3.25" long & .75" wide. System requirements: windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP , Mac OS X, Mac OS 8.6 or above. No drivers required. 2 year warranty! Thanks Lexar, great product. | ||

I needed a 2M or 6.5' cable because the 1M was just too short for my needs. I looked at this one (90$) and Monster's new THX Ulta 1000 4' component cable(100$). They had equal features. The THX cable is better looking than this one, however when it came down to it I didn't want to spend 10 extra bucks on a cable that's 2.5' shorter! Now this cable isn't THX certified, but it is certified by Imaging Science Foundation. I typically recommend Monster Cable, I feel they are the leader in A/V cables. This is a great fit for a progressive scan DVD player and/or HDTV. Get the most out of what you paid for! Rock On. | ||

| I bought this mouse earlier this year when it was exclusive to Best Buy and before the blue one was out. I've been very happy with it so far. Very quick & responsive. Best mouse for gamers and quicker and more reliable than wireless, with no need for batteries or recharging!! Set-up was a breeze. I like the forward/back buttons on the side and the customizable buttons on top, makes surfing the net easier and more fun. My sole complaint is it lacks the little red LED my old microsoft mouse had, but that's just a cosmetic/design issue. The MX 510 is very smooth and fits my hand comfortably. Amazon has a great price w/ free shipping too! Highly Recommended. | ||

| No doubt this movie is a western classic. I saw it years ago and loved it. I don't have anything negative to say about the movie itself. I almost picked up this 2 disc set until I learned it's a cut down or edited version. Why is the complete 212 min version only available on VHS ? That's just stupid. This is a great movie worthy of a director's cut edition maybe 3 disc set? I'd spend the extra cash on a deeper edition, until then I'll save my money. Please, please release the FULL version on DVD! | ||

| I needed to upgrade my dingy old Altec Lansing's, bought in 1999. I researched several speakers sets. All I needed was a simple 2.1 or 3 speaker set up since I dont use my PC for watching DVDs and thus didnt require a 5.1 spendy setup. My budget was 150$. I didn't need to waste 250$ on the (greatly overpriced) Bose companion 3 or the top of the line Logitech Z680. I looked hard at the Klipsch Promedia 2.1(150$) and the very affordable Logitech Z-2200(105$)- great value. I almost pulled the trigger in favor of the Z-2200 until I read more about the Megaworks 250D on creative's website, then I was sold! It is more expensive(155/140$ after rebate), but also offers more power & features and I felt better quality. Here's the specs: generous 300w RMS, THX, 3.5" sats(75w RMS/ea.) & 8" (down fire) wood sub for the bass(150w RMS), 99db SNR, and 25-20kHz range. Now you're playing w/ power! | First I'd like to say that I've been a loyal fan of Mr. Kelly ever since his first solo CD "12 play" back in '93. I've had the privelage of watching his style in videos and hearing his music evolve over the last 10 years and ,to me, he keeps getting better. I'm not gonna be one the A--holes who choose to dog Kel for what he may or may not have done in his personal life. Really that's none of my business anyways, I don't know the man personally and I won't be his judge. I love Kel for making music that his true fans will forever groove to. I believe he is a genuine living legend of R&B. I've noticed others refer to him as a "musical genius" and I'd agree with that for sure. His talent as a singer/writer/producer can not be denied. In closing, "I wish" he'd work with some of the following artists & legends on a collaboration CD (like he made w/ Jay-Z)..... The King of Music Michael Jackson, Pharrell, Dr. Dre, Baby Face, Whitney Houston, and lastly Quincy Jones. Keep your faith in Christ my brother, much love & respect your loyal fan D. | ||

| First off I'd like to thank Microsoft for giving us COLORED options. Hopefully more colors will follow ! Ok, now on to my review: (I've proudly owned an XBOX ever since Jan. 2002) I bought this controller as soon as it came out- chose the green one cuz it's more of an "XBOX color". I have a few minor gripes with the controller... First the price is a bit high, second they did away with the cool "see-thru" green cord and connector ends (on the original BIG one and also the black controller S) instead going with a cheap, ugly black cord. I would've liked to have seen them design these (colored controllers) so that they were more "see-thru" (it's opaque not translucent). Controller matched (color-keyed) cords and connector ends would've been the way to go I think. Adding an internal LED or two would've been nice too, Microsoft. If you're thinking about adding another controller I'd suggest to buy a microsoft one, much better quality than a 3rd party P.O.S. This controller is small, fits your hands very well, has great button placement (pressure sensitive, jewel colored buttons), built-in "rumble" feature and ports for two memory cards(if you need to use them). Also features a cord seperate feature, great idea! The cord length is nearly 10' !!! Highly recommended. Rock on ! | ||

| I've owned the "Liv" version of this alarm clock, same model just different color, for about 6 months now. I initially liked the digital tuner, CD-RW play ability, 3 alarms, and 3 Tuner function. Also I liked the compactness of it and it's small "footprint". I'm afraid I must rate it unacceptable however, I'll explain why. First I have a problem with seeing the time on the LCD, being backlit makes it hard to read the numbers- even being placed directly across from my bed, it's also difficult to see at certain angles too (it completely disappears) I believe if just the numbers themselves (not the whole screen) were lit then this would be a solution. Secondly, I think the "buzzer" is way too polite or cute and could easily see someone sleeping thru it. It's not volume adjustable either. Lastly, and probably most important, this thing has only a 1 min internal back-up if the power fails. That is a critical design flaw in my opinion. In other words, if the power happens to go out for anytime longer than just 1 minute while you're sleeping count on oversleeping, being late, and seeing a flashing "12:00" to greet you when you wake. Like I said, this is simply unacceptable. I really don't understand why sony didn't just incorporate a 9V back-up like other alarm clocks use. In closing, I wish I never bought it, but oh well, I've learned my lesson. Please steer clear of sony alarm clocks until they improve these sort of design flaws. | ||

| I've been a fan of the mortal kombat series ever since it first came out in 1992. The other fighting games on the market are just too "cute" for me, but MK is bloody & violent, exactly the way I want my fighting game to be. Thanks for not folding to the pressure Midway, the blood content is sweet!! (a welcome addition to a true fighter) Thank God for Fatalities :) I wouldn't suggest this game for anyone under 17, but for everyone else this one is so much fun to play. During a fight you can switch to any of 3 differnt fighting styles including weapons! There are many fighters, alternate costumes, and game arenas that you can unlock as you fight, win, and gain Koins. I was most impressed with the way the fighters move so fluidly and the colorful fight arenas are beautiful eye candy. The game is also loaded with things like a video on MK History, a music video, sketch art, etc. Thanks again to the people behind this game, so glad they took their time making this one. It is a true gem and definitely the best MK game to date, keep up the great work Midway! If you want a dark, violent fight game, give this one a chance, I love it!! | ||

| ... With the addition of HDTVs & flat screens on the market, the prices on regular(analog) TVs are way more affordable than before. Personally, I choose to wait on HDTVs until their prices come down before I will buy. Anyways, on w/ my review, I believe Toshiba to be one of the best in electronics period. They build excellent quality components. Sony is good also, but are clearly overpriced & sometimes even overrated. This TV comes w/ the better "cinema series" universal (backlit) remote. A complete one year warranty including both parts AND labor. 3-line Digital comb filter. FST Black CRT w/ Invar shadow mask. It's also loaded w/ Inputs for all your A/V gear, this includes: a component video In, 2 rear S-video Ins, 2 RF, and 3 A/V Ins(1 front). What more could you ask for (at this price) ? Compare other brands for this size TV, features, and price. Did I mention that it also has a 2 tuner PIP ? Sweet. Rock on Toshiba! | ||

| I respectfully disagree with some of the other people who have been trashing this movie. I enjoyed End of Days very much and believe it's one of Arnold's best. I'm happy big Arnold returned to making serious action movies again. I rented this movie when it first came out on DVD and can't wait to add it to my collection! This movie has killer special effects and heart pounding action. Satan vs. Mr. Universe Schwarzenegger? I'll take Schwarz in a 12 round K.O. (You go boy !) | ||

| I agree w/ what another reviewer said about Mr. Lattimore. He is far too underrated. I am so thankful I found him and bought "from the soul of man". I just picked up this CD last night and have already fallen in love w/ it. (I wish I had bought this a long time ago) It's R&B at it's best! The beats ,Kenny's voice, and the lyrics blend together w/ perfection on this one. This CD is a "new classic". If you like R&B this CD is a must have for sure. Sit back & groove w/ Mr Lattimore. He is too cool. I can only hope that Mr. Lattimore will put out more CDs, similar to this one, very soon. Simply put this CD is the bomb! By the way, the CD's quality is perfect,(HDCD). | U can't go wrong adding Braveheart to your collection. This is a fantasic movie. The fight scenes are awesome and the story of William Wallace's fight for freedom is inspiring. There's also a love story with-in this one, BraveHeart has it all!! One of my top 10 movies of all time...a new classic | ||
