| Brother HL-2170w 23ppm Laser Printer with Wireless & Wired Network Interfaces | ||
![]() | "Wireless feature is hard to setup on Mac" | 2009-10-31 |
| The enclosed software is so crappy and dated that you can't even use the CD to install/configure wireless on OSX 10.6 without installing Rosetta. And no, an updated version is not available online.
However, setup the wireless on Windows 7, using the same disc took only 2 min. A Brother tradition: Poor software/documentation, excellent hardware. This printer comes with tons of un-advertised feature. Such as(cut from one of the many menus): -------- Web Based Management (Web Server) Telnet SNMP Advanced Setting LPD Raw Port IPP Advanced Setting Web Services Advanced Setting POP3/SMTP Advanced Setting FTP TFTP mDNS Advanced Setting LLMNR LLTD --------- That's right, You can telnet and ftp to the printer. How cool is that! You can have the printer email you error reports such as tray door had been opened for n times or minuets, remote printing over the internet, generate a CSV file of the maintenance record..., and whole bunch of other neat stuff. Or you can plug in an USB cable and print, I guess. | ||

| Good sound, good design(I love the stabilizer brush), but seriously over-packaged. The case is made out a 1/8 in. matte finish aluminum box, with aluminum hinged cover with "SHURE" stamped on it. I mean, really? a $15 box for a $60 product? | ||

![]() | "Not a quality item" | 2007-10-05 |
| This router attachment for Dremel is very poorly made. The plastic flexes a lot. The three pole design doesn't really any stability because the material is so flimsy. The height adjustment is simply a plastic bar which has offers no accuracy at all. Bottom line, this item so cheaply made that it's almost unusable. The 'real' Dremel 335 router attachment is a way better product then this Milescraft knock off with only couple dollars more. | ||
