These are the best headphones I've ever heard. It produces booming bass, and a great treble response. Couldn't be happier. The only minor caveat is my ears start hurting (from the pressing of the earpiece) after prolonged use. But the good thing is that it can be used as a DJ style monitor with just one ear piece folded back. Great value for money.

I've played the NFS games and this was my first venure into the Gotham world. I should say I'm really hooked. The solo career mode is very addictive. There are a variety of challenges (cones, time-kudos, street race) and they keep the game interesting. The kudos, the credits you get for winning games are just right (it won't take you ages) to unlock new cars. The music and graphics are great. I also love the online play and per car stats you can maintain. The controls are very good (I love drifting!) and overall this was a surprisingly fun game! I've been playing straight for weeks now :)

I had done my bit of research when I was preparing for interviews. Looking back on the whole process, I feel reading answers to some of the most typical questions made me feel confident during the whole time. I highly recommend this to anyone interviewing for any position in any industry. I feel it is a necessary read, as questions in the book are very commonly asked (I have attended 10s of interviews now.) Spend a couple of hours on this one and you will make sure not to burn yourself in the foot when it comes to crunch time.

The Beatles - Revolver [UK]The Beatles - Revolver [UK]
Rated 5 Stars"Jewel in the crown!" 2005-04-23
The Beatles are at the top of their game in 'Revolver'. It's the perfect album to begin your Beatles collection if you are a new fan. It's the CD to pop in and listen to over and over again for the veteran fans. Why is this CD so good you ask? It's because this is probably the only Beatles' CD with virtually no filler songs. Almost every track on this CD is good and ofcourse, a majority of them are exceptional :)

Absolute classics:
* Taxman - George Harrison rocks in this intro track!
* Here There and Everywhere - Paul's romantic classic.
* She said She said - My absolute fave track on this album! John Lennon was a genius! I can listen to this song endlessly!
* And your bird can sing - Great Guitar riffs! This track short and sweet.. John's magic again!
* For no one - Paul's best track on the album.
* Tomorrow Never Knows - What a way to end this magnificient CD! The Beatles sign off with a truly outstanding experimental track that is more psychedelic than anything I've heard!

COMPARISONS.. to Beatles' other albums does no good! Each album defined a phase in Beatles evolution as artists and probably this is the CD which captures them in their very finest form. Everyone should give this CD a try. After all, it is one of the best CDs by one of the greatest bands ever.. The Beatles.

Bjork - HomogenicBjork - Homogenic
Rated 5 Stars"Belongs in every music enthusiast's collection" 2005-03-18
Suffice to say, I have heard Bjork's works from "Post" to the new "Medulla" and every one of her albums have moments of brilliance. But if you were to buy just one Bjork album, this should be it. If you want another one, buy Vespertine!

Almost every song on this album has its own creative brilliance. Absolute jems: Hunter (amazing hooks), Joga (the most melodious), Bachelorette (epic like), alarm call (cool dance track) and finally the album closes with its best track - All is full of love. This is an album every music enthusiast should have - after all, it is the best Bjork album!

Radiohead - Kid ARadiohead - Kid A
Rated 5 Stars"Disappear into the future!" 2005-01-27
Radiohead's creativity was at its peak in 1997. They released OK Computer, which I consider to be the best album of all time. When Radiohead released their follow-up album, Kid A, they were still in that "High creativity" mode. This album was unlike anything else out there, and even won a grammy. Years have passed, but this music still captivates me. The album is very coherent - songs flow and blend together to create a sonic soundscape. I still enjoy listening to every song on this album. My personal favorites: "Everything in its right place", "How to disappear completely", "Idioteque" and "Motion Picture Soundtrack" (probably the best song on the album).

This is an experimental album, with less emphasis on vocals and more emphasis on the music. If you give it a fair number of listens (this album is pretty hard to get into), you will appreciate the music and effort that has gone into this work. As attested by thousands of reviewers, this is indeed one of the best concept albums ever! This is what makes Radiohead, Radiohead!

Radiohead - Hail To The ThiefRadiohead - Hail To The Thief
Rated 5 Stars"Music that EATS YOU ALIVE !" 2004-11-11
If you are still wondering if you wanna shell those $$s for this album, you are reading the right review :) I'll try to make this as unbiased as possible: meaning that even though I am a big time fan of Radiohead over the years (from bends through Amnesiac), I'll try to rate this relative to their other ventures. Now if you are totally new to Radiohead, believe me, it's worth investing your time and money to check out their music! Ok, with that bit of an intro, let's head to the track-by track review and figure out how many *s this album actually deserves:

1. "2 + 2 = 5" - 4 / 5 - A nice hard rock song, that reminds me of their good old song "Just". It's not an exceptional track as many have suggested. It's an all out rock song, with none of the radiohead's "it grows on you" factor in there :)

2. "Sit Down, Stand Up" - 4.5 / 5 - Here's where they get warmed up and start showing you the signs of their brilliance! Although this is one of their simplest of songs, it is extremely catchy and sticks in your head!

3. "Sail To The Moon" - 4.5 / 5 - For all those who thought Radiohead was just a beat machine, you'll be surprised with the vocal range of Thom Yorke! This is a beautiful, melodic song with one of the best vocal renditions of Thom.

4. "Backdrifts" - 3.5 / 5 - A cool song with creative electronic beats. But nothing great to write home about.

5. "Go To Sleep" - 4 / 5 - A pretty straight forward rock song. But I am surprised why Radiohead chose this song to be one of their singles.. when they have better songs on the album.

6. "Where I End and You Begin" - 5 / 5 - A classic radiohead track!!! This song really "grows on you"! With really good lyrics and eerie sounds, this is one of the highlights of the album and a delight for the fans!

7. "We Suck Young Blood" - 4.5 /5 - The first few times, I hated this song and kept skipping this song. But after a while, I got hooked and boy, this turned out to be another brilliant track! It starts off real slow, but then, the chorus and the stunning ending elevates this to the Radiohead level!

8. "The Gloaming" - 3 / 5 - An OK song. Reminiscent of their "Kid A / Amnesiac" era.. both of which I liked.. but this track is just average.

9. "There There" - 5 / 5 - One of their very best. I personally think that this is one of the most creative (both musically and lyrically), radio friendly song ever created! The lyrics, vocals, drums and the guitars are all top notch! This is what Paranoid Android is to OK Computer.

"We are accidents waiting to happen..". This track alone is worth the all the $$s!!

10. "I Will" - 5 /5 - Another great song with only vocals and minimal arrangements. The simplicity, and innocence ("little babies eyes..") portrayed in the lyrics do justice to the melencholy of the vocals.

11. "A Punch Up At A Wedding" - 4.5 /5 - A nice, piano laden track. The mood in this song is kinda continued in tracks 13 and 14.

12. "Myxomatosis" - 4 / 5 - "Airbag" Part 2? This is much more straight forward and accessible than Airbag which had complicated arrangements and lyrics. Nevertheless, a good, catchy listen.

13. "Scatterbrain" - 4.5 / 5 - Believe me, this grows on you! A nice song, kinda defines the mood for the next track.

14. "A Wolf At The Door" - 5 / 5 - A great song to finish the album!! With Beethoven's "moonlight sonata" playing in the background..Radiohead close the album with another of their creative masterpieces! The last time anybody tried such fusion were the beatles, (Moonlight sonata is played in the reverse on "Because" from Abbey Road).

So that wraps up this long review! The avg rating comes to 4.35 / 5.0 but I've rounded it up to 5 .. out of the sheer love for Radiohead :) Truly, Radiohead's creative brilliance is sprinkled all over the album, although the album as a whole is not flawless. But these moments of brilliance is what we've all been waiting for!! It reminds us that Radiohead, after all the years, is still capable of producing fresh, non-repetetive, music which puts them in a different league altogether! Hail to the commitment of the band members to produce something different with every release! So, regardless of your previous Radiohead experience, this album, on its own, is worth every penny.

and embrace a new form of music which is fresh and different from 99% of other music out there. If your mind is attune to the formula music, you may not relish this. But if you are like me, you will sit back and enjoy a delicious scoop of creativity :)

John Lennon - Lennon Legend: The Very Best of John LennonJohn Lennon - Lennon Legend: The Very Best of John Lennon
Rated 5 Stars"Beginner to Lennon - Dream, Imagine, love, make peace!" 2004-07-06
WOW..just WOW! I dont know how to describe the genius of Lennon. First off, I wanna call myself new to Lennon's solo works. I bought this CD for "Imagine" and "the hype". But only now I realize "the hype = Brilliance" of John Lennon. I am a young adult, who loves alternative and rock like so many other kids out there. I never thought I would buy into an old man music and his philosophies. But this is pure genius! This is the best mix of music and lyrics I have EVER heard.

Stand out tracks (although every track has its own merit):
1. Imagine - THE BEST song ever written. The simplest of melodies with such relevant lyrics.
2. Mother - I miss my mom now!
3. Jealous Guy - Such a cool melody..a very sweet song.
4. Cold Turkey - Rocks!
5. Dream - My favorite track after Imagine.. Lennon shows his genius again in simple harmonies with such nice lyrics!
6. Stand By Me - Really good acoustic track.
7. Beautiful Boy - Really sweet song.
8. Watching the wheels - About Lennon.
9. Happy Xmas - The Best Christmas song. ever.

Well these are my fave tracks. Ofcourse, you will have yours! This album is a MUST buy for any music lover. This is the epitome of music. You can't get better melodies and lyrics for your money's worth.

Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the HeadColdplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head
Rated 5 Stars"A gush of blood to the head!" 2003-12-08
Simply put, this album is one of the very best. Let me try to write a broad review covering all there is to it.

1) Radiohead? No. I love both the bands. Both are exceptionally talented. Both have plenty of songs to put any other rock band to shame. A Rush.. is to Coldplay as OK computer to Radiohead. Though not as diverse as the music on OK.. this album delivers equal punch.

2) Best songs: To me are 1) Clocks 2) Politik 3) God put a smile upon your face 4)THe warning sign....

3) Brit rock? Well yes.. but not the kind of you expect. Just clocks and Politik will make you "shiver" :) Coldplay is a great example of a diverse band that re-invents itself with every album, only to get better!

4) Who should buy this? If you are a music fan who likes to buy the very best, then this album should be on your shelves!
