This is a well-written, well-organized book which is a wealth of information about paddling on Maryland's Chesapeake. I particularly appreciated the maps and illustrations in the book; they made sure that my recent vacation was action packed and that I didn't overlook a thing! While all the information in the book that I used was correct, it was somewhat dated; things have changed a lot-for the better- in the local paddling scene, and the authors should consider a new edition.

I'm not well-versed in religious/spiritual literature; this was my first foray into the genre. I chose it because the Amazon community rated it highly... BUT, I have to say that this was largely a waste of time, though I was warned on the front cover-- Publishers' Weekly called it "enjoyably clever"-- I've never thought of 'clever' as a compliment...

If you need a light-duty chipper/shredder, or don't want to listen to the noise a gas-powered one makes, this unit will fill the bill. Well-designed, solid construction. Minor assembly, instructions are clear. I'd buy it again.

While the book devoted a bit more space to the retirement home/assisted care scene than I needed for each locale, it helped me find a number of interesting towns which had not been 'on the radar' with other sources. A good companion volume to a more generalized book on New Mexico.
