To the Manor Born is a terrific show filled with humor, warmth, charm, and acidic wit. Penelope Keith is excellent as is the rest of the cast. This is a nice set with enjoyable extra features. It's worth the price!

Every few months, I make out a Top 15 "Desert Island" list of my favorite albums. There are a few who always make the top 10 and this BoDeans release is one of them. Catchy melodies, great lyrics...with not a dull song in the bunch (you know the kind--you skip it on the CD player or leaving it off when you download the album on to your computer. You can't go wrong with this terrific CD. The Strangest Kind is one of my all-time favorite songs!

I'm ordering a new copy of The Victory Garden Cookbook because my original is falling apart. It's a quick reference for preparing just about any vegetable you can think of, but the bonus is that it offers terrific recipes. Everything I've ever made from this fantastic cookbook has turned out to perfection. If I could only keep one cookbook on the shelf, it would be this one!
