This is my fourth leatherman tool the other 3 were a leatherman wave.
The charge its realy great, it has resolved all the isues on the wave, it fells much more stronger, it comes with more tools (two interchangeable screwdrivers one small and one that replaces the 1/4") the key ring its a little dificult to use but its bigger than wave's the most impressive things are the blades, simply the best. Also the design is more usefull for example all the inside tools now use a lock, and the external clip or key ring use it to(by the way this to new things are awesome).
*Good things
-good quality
-its more secure (blades couldnt get out when in pliers mode)
-The ruler with cm and inches!!!
-the materials look so fine
-even more sharpened than other leatherman tools
-pleanty of accesories
-looks agresive
-belt sheath included with accesories its realy nice
*Bad Things
-two small scissors, comes very well sharpened but to small
-the final end of the pliers its to bad now a hair couldnt get cought with it
-it apearance its more heavy
-the file gets closed not very well.
-its harder to close the tool when the pliers are on the outside.
-screwdrivers reaplacement only on sale from leatherman
*what could be better
-the cutting hook could fit perfectly why they don't addit
-it could come with more screwdrivers and small accesories
-the file could be inverted so it doesnt get dirty.
-the key ring could be easier to been taked out.
-pliers NEED to ended with much more quality
*diferences between wave charge ti and xti
betwen xti and ti the principal diference its the cutting hook vs the scissors and the cramp on the pliers I think its stupid that two models are on sell. they could done one with both good things! the waves its fine but I think that for me this one is better(camping, bike, mechanical fixing, every day use, etc) but the design of the wave its more pure not so charged of things.
***So you want the best multi tool go for this leatherman charge ti, because gerber or victorinox or even other leatherman models are so poor compared with this!
