| The pump is rated for 840 GPH at 10' rise, or 1200 GPH with 0' rise. We have used it to pump water 10' up out of our basement sump well, at an incredible speed. More than enough power to replace failed sump pump. Quiet operation. Garden hose attachment. The directions advise not to operate in less than 4" of water for long periods of time. Operates short term in 1/2" of water. | ||

| I did a lot of comparison shopping before purchasing this pump. I have not been disappointed. Pros: * Inflates to 90 psi or higher with surprising ease. You don't have to pump real hard as with other pumps I've used. * Takes fewer strokes than I could imagine. This thing is efficient!! * Mounting is secure. All mounting parts included. * Works right out of the box for presta valves. * Well designed and engineered. * Lightweight. Cons: * The pressure gauge is virtually unreadable. * It is so lightweight, I don't expect it will withstand a lot of abuse. | ||

| I used a new Static-Master brush for cleaning slides prior to scanning. I tried quite a few different techniques for cleaning my slides, including using a plain soft brush (no polonium). Honestly, I could not tell a difference in the effectiveness of the various cleaning strategies I used. Definitely not worth the extra cost for StaticMaster. The brush does clean off loose dust and lint, of course, but it does not remove years-old specks that are stuck to the film. The latter was a far greater problem on some of the slides I dealt with. Again, definitely not worth the extra cost for StaticMaster. | ||

| This is my second pair of Canari cycling shorts, and they seem to have more padding and better stretch material than the older model. The first pair wore out after approximately 130 hours of riding. Fashion is secondary to function, but these shorts look fashionable to me. Here is an example of their effectiveness. Recently I rode a mountain bike with an unpadded, poorly adjusted seat, for 105 minutes straight. I can't say it didn't hurt, but thanks to these Canari shorts, my butt survived the ordeal fairly well. :-) | ||
