I have a Pioneer DEH-4000UB car stereo with USB input & bought this drive to use as a 120GB MASS STORAGE device for all my music files. It holds somewhere around 40,000 SONGS and works GREAT! It's pretty simple to do: 1) Totally reformat the drive to FAT32 using SwissKnife V3 or other software. This will erase EVERYTHING on the drive (including all the crappy CEEDO software). 2) Transfer all your music files from your PC to it, creating folders and subfolders if you like! 3) Get one of those little DC to USB adapters for the 2nd USB (this harddrive uses 2 USBs) rated at 8V 2A (2000mA) that you will plug into your cigarette lighter or Power Point outlet in your car. A "standard" car USB adapter only draws 500mA or 700mA and that is not powerful enough for this drive. Be sure you plug the DATA USB into the car stereo, and plug the POWER USB into your car's cigarette lighter or Power Point outlet. I keep this harddrive in my glovebox! 4) ENJOY!

I loved this film the first time I saw it, and even more on Blu-ray! I read other reviews stating that the Blu-ray release is "soft" but I don't find this to be the case with my IF7210 projector. It looks amazing on my 110" screen. I have Blu-rays that are REALLY soft, like "Day of the Dead" and "Evil Dead II" (especially the latter).

I had been wanting to add this 5 Disc Blu-ray release to my collection for a while now, and finally picked it up during amazon's "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" special. It has been beautifully remastered for this Blu-ray release and I personally like the 2007 "Final Cut" the best! Of course, the original theatrical version is the one folks identify with the most, but hey, I'm open-minded enough to enjoy the sharper, remastered "Final Cut" just as much! If you plan to watch this movie with a front projection system and large screen (110" or more) this Blu-ray release is for you. It doesn't get any better than this, folks! Kudos Warner Bros!

What can I say about this CRITERION release that hasn't already been posted here. I did want to mention a difference in print quality between the "Theatrical Version" and the "Extended Director's Cut". I watch my movies with a front projection setup, on a 10' wide DaLite HCCV screen, so image quality is important. Don't get me wrong, both versions are EXCELLENT quality, though the "Extended Director's Cut" is a little soft & fuzzy in comparison. It is also somewhat darker and "muddy" with less contrast than the "Theatrical Version" which is bright and crisp. This is apparent if you just compare the opening scene. They are drag racing on a bright, sunny day but in the "Director's Cut" it looks more like a cloudy "about to rain" day, and it's difficult to see anything inside the girls' car. When they pass the CONSTRUCTION sign on the road, in the "Director's Cut" it is quite dark and soft (still totally legible) while in the "Theatrical Version" the words on the sign are bright, perfectly sharp and crisp. Of course, the first thing I did was to watch the "Extended Director's Cut" and found a few of the restored scenes to be integral to the story. I still watch this film from time to time, and it's always CRITERION'S "Theatrical Version" I pop in the 'ole DVD player. Anyone else noticed this difference in print quality?

It's nice to see people actually commenting on the Q U A L I T Y of a particular DVD release for a change; especially when it's a movie like this one that now has around 25 different DVD releases over the years! Adding my 2 cents, this is one of the WORST quality DVDs of this title, right up (down?) there with UPC 798622308726 and UPC 645961100323. Don't bother with this release unless you'll be watching it on a 19" or smaller TV. It is horrid.
