| Scrubs so far is a light hearted comedy series. I appreciate it does not get overly serious. It sticks to making you feel good and not sucking yourself into some adrenaline pumping drama you might not be ready for after a hard days work. Scrubs also has a creative side that is uniquely different than most comedies going into a type of silly fantasy land and then back to "reality". I appreciate this show and look forward to it as a way to unwind and relax. I only wish there were even more seasons. | ||

| For the Spiritual Seeker this is am exemplary film. You can really see the progression of Ram Dass throughout the film and the relation between suffering and spiritual growth. There are also some very touching scenes of people conveying how Ram Dass touched their lives. Some of these people have gone through incredibly difficult experiences making his love even more special. | ||

| In short Babe is just about perfect film with light humor and allusions to deeper insights. However "Babe in the City" though decent was a little more average depending more on wild antics along with crazy sets, props, and costumes. "Babe in the City" still had some of the allusions to deeper issues concerning animal rights which made think more of this film than I normally would. It's convenient that both of these films are together but in my opinion "Babe" is a stand alone film by itself; And if I had a hankering would probably just stick with re-watching the first. | ||

| I rarely give a perfect score though I have given many 8's and 9's because I am extremely selective about which movies I watch. In this case babe really came through all the way to the end. Often movies can do well but kind of flub the ending by carrying on longer than the "Ah ha" moment. Babe however ended just right leaving you with glowing warm feelings. Babe was entertaining, funny, somewhat thought provoking, and even a tad spiritual. Babe really prods the viewer to reconsider how they think about animals. Even though these animals are obviously anthropomorphized the movie still manages to break through our preconceptions. I'm not sure how much of an animal rights bent this movie intended but for me it seemed obvious that deeper issues were implied. Ultimately though, even without much thought this is an easy movie to watch with its positive and wholesome values. I was heartened to see something so benign and at the same time well done movie (often a hard combination to be had) come out of Hollywood. In a time when it often seems almost anything goes this was a most welcome alternative. | ||

| I not really sure why this did not seem to get as good as reviews as the first. It did start off kind of slow and relied on some crude humor but by the end was in full swing Elle mode, with bubbly sunshine, enthusiastic wit and a moral of perseverance that just wouldn't give up. I don't know maybe people saw the dizzy blonde that the not yet won over cynics in the movie projected upon her and not the inspirational eccentric Elle that not only had brains but a HUGE heart to boot. I truly think Legally Blonde 2 was one of the most positive entertaining movies out there. I'm not one for movie sequels but I would definitely entertain the possibility of seeing a Legally Blonde 3, maybe something to do in the vein of the spiritual. Oh by the way, if you see the movie on DVD, Legally Blonde 2 honestly has one of the best gag reals I have ever seen. It was cut and edited with just the right music. It really brought and smile to my face. I feel good. If a movie can do that, it's done more than its job. Good job, to all who had a hand in its production. This world can use all the light it can get. | ||

| I was surprised at how young bill Murray looked. It was also strange to see all those old cars and hair cuts that I once remembered as new. As a historical remembrance Meatsballs was much more interesting that otherwise viewed outside that context. Overall meatballs was still kind of funny with a couple of real gems in there. The "It just doesn't matter" chant was fantastic, as well as Bill Murray protending to be the other camps director. I also noticed the film seemed to have more of a romantic innocence than many modern day films. Though the counselors seemed to always be trying to get some, in the end they were portrayed as romantic with long term interest. I felt this more healthy than many T.V. sitcoms where the characters jumped from relationship to relationship. In short Meatballs is the type of film you view every ten years and laugh at a couple of really good scenes, smirk your way through the rest, and marvel at how old you must be getting. | ||

| This the most entertaining book on Buddhism I have every read. I found myself laughing quite a bit and breezed through the entire books with little effort.
This book does not espouse the conventional methods on obtain enlightenment instead takes a uniquely different approach. I highly recommend anyone interested in the subject to read this book, especially if previous attempts were stifled by weighty material. Whatever the case I'm positive most people can get something from this book especially since it is couched in such an amusing way. | ||

| The graphics are as good as any big budget movie production, the acting impeccable, the plot fascinating, and above all this show will really make you think about the deeper implications. I've never seen a first season show come so strongly out of the gate. If I had one complaint it would be that the show is too dark. But then again the whole premise of the show does not realistically allow for much else. I enjoy this show for what it is, an intensely well constructed drama that emerges the viewer completely into its world. | ||

| Birth is a film that only some will have the vision see its inner beauty. First off it helps if you are attracted to the idea of reincarnation. Adding to the mix the child/adult sexual issues makes this movie even more polarizing for the viewer. I personally found the themes mesmerizing which enabled me to take something away after the viewing experience. In short this is a thinking mans/womans film. If you are looking for bang em up shoot em up films this one is not for you. If you are looking for slip on bananas Jim Carrey like films, the same said. But if you are the person that is mindful of nuance while at the same time having a open minded spirituality, one that has a searching quality to it, then this film is definitely for you. It is unfortunate that this film caters to such a small audience but for those of us who identify with it know it is a blessing to have seen it. As a side note Kiddman and Bright are just about perfect in their acting. I was especially impressed with Bright who for his age has surpassed himself. Personally I thought he stoled the show which in this case was almost impossible to do because Nicole was so spot on. One of the best aspects to this film was what could be expressed without uttering a single word. What Kiddman could express without words was simply uncanny. You could almost literally feel the audience squirm in their seats as most people familiar with Hollywood style simply aren't used to this enough to have acquired such a refined taste. I too do not want to give anything away but if you have an intuition about seeing this movie by all means go. Or better yet just buy the film as it is dirt cheap at the moment and I suspect that not only will get better with each viewing but that it may very well become a cult classic. Happy Sorjourning | ||

| I was completely hooked by the end of pilot. That has never happened for me. Never have I given a pilot 5 stars. This is like getting up to the major leagues and batting a home run the first time up to bat. The story was incredible, the acting realistic, and the special effects first rate, especially for T.V. If I had any complaint it would be that the subject matter is so melancholic. However the way the remants of the human race dewlt with this holocaust was so genuine and logical that it softened the blow of thermonuclear warfare, if that actualy could be done. | ||

| Not bad for a first season. The Characters are just starting to get comfortable into their roles, however since there is basically just half a seasons worth of shows they haven't had time yet to get the ball rolling. What I have seen so far is very interesting in concept, pretty good writing, and the acting is decent. But I can tell it will get better as the characters have time to evolve. In anycase if you like Sci-Fi Fantasy this is a winner. I'm anxious to see what the next season will bring. Hopefully they will give it enough seasons to see what it really has, which at this point is potential. | ||

| There are two main problems with this computer. It took me sending it off twice and a personal computer guy coming to my house four times to figure it out. First off it has a static problem that stems from the speakers, USB ports, and power jack. It does some sort of electrical kick back thing that freezes the whole computer. The depot people fixed that one but I had to research it and tell them to do so for them to figure that one out, and on top of that I do not think they grounded all the problems. The second time I sent it off (this time to a private company in New York) they grounded the rest of problem areas, replaced the mother board, and repaired my CD burner that never worked in the first place. I thought they fixed the problem for good but the computer started again with increasing frequency to freeze up. One day the music started to garble and the whole computer shut down and would not restart properly. After calling my in home computer guy we accidentally figured out the Atheros wireless card that was causing the whole problem. After removing it the computer has worked absolutely perfect without a glitch and it has been work so for over three weeks. I hope the people at Toshiba are reading this because I was so frustrated I was about to throw my computer out the window buy a non Toshiba and bad mouth them forever. The truth is after taking this baby out (Atheros Wireless Card) the computer is really nice. Its fast, has an extra large screen, & has quite a bit of memory, etc. Toshiba, please fix the glitches so that people will not have to waste lots of their precious time trying to fix the computers for themselves. | ||
