| I purchased this model mainly because it supports both, old analog RCA connection (for TV I currently have) and new HDMI connectors which is a must (I tested it too). The second reason is new chipset and a lot of supported media formats including AVCHD produced by my camcorder. In general, I'm pleased with this item:
1. It plays all files flawlessly. So far I tried AVI(XviD/DivX), MKV(Matroska), MTS(AVCHD), IFO(DVD) and some audio MP3 files. 2. It is black, silent and cool with two ambient blue indicators switching to one red when it's off. In other words - it's practically invisible (which is a must for hone theatre equipment). 3. It has simple intuitive browsing interface and easy-to-use remote control full of useful features with nothing excessive (such as volume control, zoom, subtitle swap and home button bringing fast to main menu). 4. I couldn't test much of a quality because I don't own Plasma TV but from what I saw on friend's set - HDMI and RCA works very good. Here's several points of improvement I'd like to mention (most of them can be fixed via future FW upgrade): 1. The model I purchased (in US) doesn't support PAL (Europe) - the option exists in Setup but grade-out. This is a minor problem for me because although I have PAL TV, it also supports NTSC. 2. When seen on CRT TV, the menus doesn't look very nice (letters are small and fuzzy, the picture slightly extends beyond right border). 3. The remote receiver is relatively weak - the remote should be pointed directly to the box, otherwise commands are often missed. The responsiveness could be also improved although it's not much of a big deal. 4. The box is relatively large (almost twice bigger than WDTV) and not especially stylish. 5. I still haven't decide whether I can tolerate odd Category "filtering". What I mean is when you go to "Video" or "Music", you don't get your video or music library but rather "filter" the whole content by file types (video or audio). The only consolation here is dedicated button that allows you to switch filtering modes "on-the-fly" without returning back to home menu. Overall, it seems to be well built, thought, fully functional and sometimes pleasantly surprising although not perfect media player which will suite very well most of consumers while may send the most demanding of them for farther search. | ||

| If you don't understand much of audiophile nuances and just want to get inexpensive headphones without giving up on quality - get these. Headphones that give you a lot of sound for not so much money. Of course, there are better sounding, more comfortable, easy-to-use and durable headphones but you'll pay at least twice for them and still won't get everything in the package. Sony MDR-7506 gives you good external isolation (in and out), long flexible cord and most importantly - amazing sound that will make you to forget all your old cheap phones you own because "why spend another 20-50$ on headphones". THAT's why. If you still tight on money - go for MDR-V600 or MDR-V6 (tried them and loved as well). | ||

| I bought these headphones based on many praising reviews from Amazon, CNET etc. (all 9 out of 10) but I was quite disappointed by mediocre sound quality of this piece. The bass is simply not there and there are no high-frequency details. It may be OK for non-expensive light-weight mp3 players but I was expecting much more from full-sized cans from Sony for this price. On the positive side, I admit it's hard to imagine more comfortably sitting on your ears headphones. You don't feel the pressure despite their bulkiness and they perfectly fit your (or at least mine) ears. This and a very long cord with rope-like coating make them perfect to watch TV without fearing to tear the cord. The only downside here is synthetic coating of the pads - after half-an-hour it gets hot and sweaty inside the caps. Still, if you're looking for a real sound, you can find much better headphones for almost the same price. Check out Sennheiser HD485 - it's a completely differently world: warm bass, good details and you can listen to them for hours. | ||

| Now, when I already know a few things, I can honestly say the book is simply bad. I went through the chapters describing IP addressing and hardly understood the explainations. And that, considering my background in this area, is a bad sign. The descriptions built in a very confusing way. The way one programmer tells to another what he knows instead of teaching the subject. It seems that being targeted to the beginner audience, the book clearly misses the point. For intermediate and higher readers, there is nothing really new or useful in it. I'm sure there are better ones. | ||

| At first, I thought it's going to be one of the usual American girl/guy movies. But after several minutes I couldn't take my eyes of the screen. It's everything you ever did or felt being in love. Every little thing. I beleived every glimpse and every giggle. Actors are natural as if they live the movie. No effects, no melodrama, pure joy of two young hearts. | ||
