| I have had my RS800SD for almost a year now, and I love it. Measuring cadence has helped my running more than anything else I have done. This is the main reason that I chose it over GPS units. I took ten minutes off of my half marathon time using it for training. I have had GPS units in the past, but found that they were not as accurate as the footpod in terms of distance (when calibrated) or altitude. I was within a hundredth of a mile of my treadmill readout on a recent 5K. Heart rate is accurate as well. I found battery life to be adequate for my purposes. I changed them recently just because it seemed about time to do so, but had about 50 hours of running in on the batteries before doing so. I love the unit and it has been a great training help. | ||

| I purchased this to improve my running performance, and it has. I am able to see my pace, cadence, heart rate, and distance (among other things) on the wrist unit. The immediate feedback keeps me from going out too fast and running out of steam at the end of my run. The cadence has been the most helpful feedback, and to me it was worth the investment. | ||

| This is the by far the best Gehrig book available (I named my son Gehrig and have probably read most of them). It gives a more personal look at him than the others. If you want statistics and information on his baseball exploits, this may not be the book for you. If you want to learn about a truly remarkable man of integrity, this book will offer you a glimpse of him that has not been offered before. | ||
