| I wish this was the first book I had read on Astrology. The authors start with a broad overview, touch on the various schools of astrology, and cover the specifics. Highly recommended if you are a beginner, or Just trying to understand Astology for your own personal purouse.You can use this to refer back to again and agin since it has a lot of factual information. There are many insights not found eslewhere in introductory books. After having dabbled quite a bit in Jyotish, I had never come across the beautiful explanation of the Grahas as the "Seizers". There are detailed chapters on Panchanga, nakshatras,Yogas.
For the Really Really Beginner -- I also suggest getting a copy of 'Vedic Astrology Simply Put' - By William Levacy (Available on Amazon). I am familiar with Robert Svobodas Aghora Books, so, I am able to understand why his insigts are so profound. | ||

| My thanks to Robert Svoboda, for this precious offering. For the casual browser of books the cover can be scary. But that fear dissolves and changes to admiration, once the last page of the book is turned. I was new to this territory, and it took a lot of guts for me to finish this book, which I received as a gift. I guess one needs to read this book first before Part II and Part III, Since, the introduction on Vimalanda in the fist few chapters is key. I have purchased the Part II (Kundalini) book, and after that it will be Part III (Karma), to finish the trilogy. Many questions that arose in my mind during the first half of the book were answered in the second half of the book. I took sevral monts to finish my 1st reading. My second reading of the book, was a better experience, and I was able to pick-up many more gems strewn by Vimalananda. There is a beautiful write-up on the cover illustration on the internet somewhere - do a web-search. | ||

| I am a novice Golfer. I was looking for a video on fundamentals. I decided to give this a try. I am glad I got this DVD. I would highly reccomend it for a novice such as me. It may also be helpful to someone who wants to brush up on their fundamentals.
I like the first advice he gives "Dont be an instruction Junkie" . The DVD is in 16:9 format which plays great on my portable DVD player and my TV. The DVD is categorized into chapters and subchapters with titles. This makes it very easty to 'browse' to a particular lesson you want. You can also play the entire DVD from beginning to end. He is very practical and understands the shortcomigs of the novice Golfer. The DVD is filled with a cornucopia of tips and tricks. I plan to keep this DVD and it will be may staple reference to review all my fundamentals. | ||

| I got a good deal at Amazon.com, With free shipping it makes it worthwhile. The Same Cable is thirty bucks in the retail store. It looks very sturdy and doesnt flop around. It has a cool translucent look. It is braided. The contacts are of solid quality. | ||

| This is a good Deal if you can get it with Free Shipping. I shopped around elsewhere and typical cost is twenty bucks. I had purchased a good quality Sony tape 3pk for twenty bucks in Best buy. This is an ME (Metal evaporated) tape. ME tapes are of good quality and were the kind reccomended by my camcorder manufacturer (Sharp). The tapes I got were Red colored packaged instead of Green as shown above. I was looking for the ME sign and i found it on the side of the tape. | ||

| ...This is a very good quality cable. It has a very nice fell to it. The braided sleeve gies it a "stay" not seen with the rubber sleeve cables. I do not see the logic in spending a lot of money on cables. There are cheaper ones on Amazon.com, but ony this was eligible for the free shipping. I was familiar with how it looked since I had shopped for it in the retail store. With the free shipping (& no taxes) this is an excellent deal. | ||

| I Downloded the User manual (Adobe Acrobat) from Amazon and was able to read all the gory details about the product before buying it. The big motivator was the price! I looked in Best Buy and the baseline cost for a MiniDV camcorder is Four hundread bucks. The rebate of 100$ brings it to a very attractive price point. This was a Fathers Day gift ("Thank you Dear wife!!"). I owned a Hi8 camcorder for nearly 6 yrs and It was time to upgrade. This will last me for another 5 yrs easily, until the next technology (Maybe HDTV quality recording on blue laser discs). I am very satisfied with how it looks and what its doing. My dad what impresssed that it looks more like a Camera than a Comcorder. Make sure you order the IEEE 1394 (6pin/4pin) cable for transfer to computer and get MiniDV (ME) tapes. Amazon had good deals on them too. If you download the user manual which is provided on Amazon - you wiff find out all the technical info you need to know. I a very happy with my decision. I found out that I can edit my movies on Windows movie Maker 2 (Free program on Windows XP and Me), and transfer it back to the MiniDV. Just Buy it !! You'll Like It! | ||

| I am a previous user of Street & Trips (2001). I try to upgrade every two years - hoping that the information in newer version will be more up to date ( I mean the mapping information). THere is no way for me to know how much the map data has been updated compared to earlier versions. I am taking a star off because I did not notice a major change in the User interface compared to S&T2001. The zooming control has improved. I like the feature of saving a map as web page, and emailing a map. I ahve a POCKET PC - so pocket streets is useful (& free). I heard the feature of GPS for Pocket streets was added in 2002. Everything else is the same. The upgrade was not painful because of the rebates - in the end it cost me only a few buck[s]!! | ||
