| The real value in this book is that it has explanations about recent case law, the popular and dissenting opinions, and implications of the Bill of Rights. Of course the book has much more than that, but as Americans our liberties are the most valuable asset we possess. This book is a good reminder of all the history, and how amazing the freedoms we have been gifted as American citizens are. I like to re-read the Constitution every few years, and this book, with its included annotations, is a good way to do that. | ||

| This works fine on my Canon ZR10 camcorder--they want more than $200 for their remote, but their remote is also a LANC, so this is a much cheaper alternative. Note that the newer Canon camcorders do not have a LANC connector, it looks similar to a small stereo connector but smaller. The power, zoom, record, and picture buttons all work while in camcorder mode. The only button that works while in VCR mode is the power (a limitation I suspect that would be present regardless of the remote.) | ||

| Rob Zombie is really coming into his own as a horror director. This is more psychologically frightening than house of 1000 corpses. This is the most twisted horror film I have seen in a while. It rates right up there with Q. Tarantino's 1970's style double feature from 2007. | ||

| I normally turn the audible alarm off and only use the bed shaker placed between the box spring and mattress directly under my head. It works better than anything else I have tried!
The alarm itself is not stable. It is super-light weight and easy to knock over. This may force you to wake faster in the morning as you try to find the buttons on the alarm that has flipped over, but is is really annoying at night when you are trying to set it for the morning. The controls for the alarm are not as intuitive as they should be. It is a real pain to set the alarm. The LED is too bright. I have to face the clock away from my face at night, or it will distract me from falling to sleep. The large LED is, however, big enough to see without my glasses on--I am very near-sighted. Despite all my gripes, the efficiency of using a bed shaker rates this alarm at four stars! | ||

| Had a strange smelling oil on the wok when it arrived which was hard to remove.
But otherwise this is a great little wok. I use it for roasting coffee on our grill! The heavy cast iron does a great job of evenly distributing heat and preventing hot spots which is key to getting a consistent roast. | ||

Two Negatives: - The base doesn't offer much adjustment, only tilt, and then it seems like I might break it if I am not careful. - Switching between multiple inputs isn't as easy as it should be - if you jump between machines often and don't want to unhook each time you will be better off getting a monitor-switch even though this monitor has two inputs. I only wish my employer had monitors this nice, and I know they paid triple what I did for 19" flat panels! | ||

| This book was written by a pawn-shop owner, and I believe the author provides a good summary of how haggling works from that point of view. A substantial portion of the book is spent explaining how to appraise diamonds and firearms, which does eventually relate back to the main theme, but seems superfluous and added merely as filler. With a book less than 60 pages, filler material is most unwelcome. I read the book cover to cover in about 20 minutes, and it felt more like reading a high-school essay on pawn-shops than a book about human nature. | ||

| Would have been 5 stars, but . . . Sony claims that they worked hard to make the phone compatible with iSync on the Macintosh, unfortuantely it isn't fully compatible. Multi-day and all-day calendar events won't transfer over. When contacting Sony, they say they don't support the feature and I need to contact apple. Doesn't sound like they worked too hard after all. | ||
