| Apple 4 GB iPod nano with Video (Silver) | ||
![]() | "Mediocre" | 2008-04-01 |
| I've owned various iPods for 6 years now and am disappointed that they have not evolved. The Nano is small, and looks ok. I'll list the pros and cons: Pros: - Small, compact and rugged flash memory - Integrates well with iTunes Cons: - At $150 (MSRP) for 4GB its overpriced - 4GB is not enough - Selective placement of "checked" music using iTunes, causes problems when trying to play multiple tracks in iTunes - iTunes is buggy and very invasive software - Must use with iTunes. Does not work with subscription music. - Must sync with only one computer - very limiting - Display and font size is too small to see clearly After having used iTunes and iPods for 6 years, I tried Rhapsody subscription with a Sansa View, ibiza, my Sonos system and TiVo. I'm much happier with Rhapsody subscription. It streams seamlessly throughout my house and I can download onto multiple MP3 players from ANY computer! Bye bye iPods! | ||

| I love the Sonos system and gave it 5 stars, but the stand seems a tad overpriced at $50. It is solid / well built though. | ||

| After 3 weeks of use the headband cracked. This is a common problem and design defect in these headphones. A week later, they stopped working altogether. Its a lot of money to spend on headphones that only last a month. | ||
| Canon PIXMA iP4000R Wireless Photo Printer | ||

| I have a home network with both Windows XP and Mac OSX computers - 1 Windows desktop, 1 Windows laptop, 1 iBook. I struggled for a year trying to get my iBook to print on the printer attached to the desktop. I also tried several print servers, and never managed to get a good network printing solution. Then, I happened upon the Canon iP4000R. I like Canon (have an i900D) for the cost of consumables (not cheap, but cheaper than Epson, HP) and photo print quality, so I decided to try the iP4000R. It installed in minutes on my network. It works flawllessly with Windows and Macintosh computer via WiFi!. Its only plugged into a 120V socket, sitting out of the way, waiting for a print job. It has 802.11g for speed and WPA for security - something I did not expect to find in this price range (I paid $160). I was also pleasantly surprised by the paper inpute cartridge under the printer which keeps the printer's profile low - no paper sticking out of the top like my i900D. I think this printer is a bargain considering you are getting a very good quality printer, a print server, ethernet and WiFi adapter. | ||

![]() | "Non-stop Crashes and Freezes" | 2005-03-14 |
| You would think Pinnacle never wrote a piece of software before, or maybe this was written by a 5th grader and never tested. There is just no excuse for a program that crashes almost every time it is used. I use the term loosely because the software is just unusable.
The program frequently freezes when creating videos, crashes to the desktop when viewing videos that were made. I got into the habit of saving my project every 30 seconds because the program crashed and had to be restarted so often. This frustration culminated in the creation of more coasters than DVDs. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. | ||

| Very loud. Jams easily. Vibrates right off the counter. Fortunately, it broke within the year so I can buy a different blender. | ||
