As much as I love this CD, I just have the feeling that this will not be my last TEMPTATIONS CD purchase. There are STILL some old TEMPTATIONS tunes out there that I have heard. However, I don't know the title so I can find them. I FINALLY found "LONELY", but not on THIS CD. | ||

| RABBIT-PROOF FENCE is visually beautiful as well as the story. The story line is about three little Australian Aborigine girls who flee a white concentration camp where mixed race Aborigine children are "taught to conform." The movie reminded me so much of the TV movie, THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF MISS JANE PITTMAN. There was no difference between Australia during that time and America during slavery. No one really talks about Australia and the Aborigines, this movie SHOWS you! | ||

| This was a well told story here, taken from numerous episodes of my favorite TV show of all time, the original MIAMI VICE. Most people do not know that Hollywood had no plans to do VICE. Lobbying by EDWARD JAMES OLMOS is what brought the project to fruition. It was indeed a good movie, but I really do miss DON JOHNSON, PHILLIP MICHAEL THOMAS, EDWARD JAMES OLMOS,MICHAEL TALBOT,JOHN DIEHL,OLIVIA BROWN and SANDRA SANTIAGO. Why did not the director, MICHAEL MANN include Olmos in the flick? I don't know. What I do know is that I enjoyed the TV series immensely and the movie was good and well told. | ||

| I first had this "album" on 8 track back in the seventies. That was when the SPINNERS ruled that airways with "How Could I Let You Get Away" and "I'll Be Around". A double sided hit on one 45 RPM. Then came "Could It Be I'm Falling In Love". Oh God, we all went Spinners crazy. Anyone who grew up on Black Soul music knows that one of the hardest thing to do, is to answer the question "WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG OF ALL TIME?" Could It Be I'm Falling In Love is one of my unforgettable favorites. GHETTO CHILD tells such a beautiful story. SOUL,is the music that I grew up with. SOUL, is the music that I love. I bought this CD, to fall in love again. I am no longer a teenager and I LOVE APPRECIATE and CHERISH, CLASSIC BLACK SOUL MUSIC, NOW MORE THAN EVER. FOREVER,AMEN! | ||

A WORD TO THE WISE IS SUFFICIENT. As far as Hollywood goes, Black 1970's film star YAPHET KOTTO was recently contacted about doing a slave movie. Mr. Kotto was so upset that he actually called and spilled the beans to MINISTER FARRAKHAN. Kotto told the Minister that he had not intention of going backwards for he had to do those kind of shows already. So, this is America and white America has its mind made up about who we are. Nowadays though, we are not in slavery. We have SPIKE LEE. GOD had heard the prayers of Black movie goers, He sent us SPIKE LEE. | ||

| I was originally looking for wireless headphones when I started reading the reviews about them here at AMAZON.COM. I wanted to be able to just put the headphones on and walk around the house free. Reading the reviews, I seen that wireless headphones are not that simple. I advise buyers to read reviews about products to make a sound decision for your money instead of using the "higher price the better, cost analysis". So I decided that I would try the new noise-canceling technology instead. I read the reviews and tried the EARHUGGERS for the price. When I got the headphones I pulled out one of my CLASSIC SOUL CD's and listened through the headphones without the battery. The music sounded good, heard the traffic coming through the window. Then I put the enclosed battery into the headset. Like magic, there was no traffic noise. To me it was sort of scary, but the magic of technology can be very scary. BOSE invented this technology and they want over $300 for their headset. Thanks to the Chinese, we can get it for under $30. I like these headphones and YOU will too! I may buy another set of noise-cancelers to have one for travel and another for home. Again, read product reviews to help you make a sound decision on the BEST PRODUCT to buy, for the amount of money that you want to spend. | ||

In this age of enlightenment there is just no more reason or excuse for the "game". This is just another film about punked-out Black males making excuses for their incorect behaviour. I hope that Blacks who watch this DVD will teach their daughters to be strong as to not fall into no pimp trap. Teach your sons to be REAL MEN. An example being JUDGE JOE BROWN. | I love the music of MARTHA REEVES and the VANDELLAS. This is why I ask where did this version of JIMMY MACK come from? Don't get me wrong, it was nice, but not the one that I grew up with. This brings me to another question: WHO DECIDES WHAT A GREATEST HITS CD IS? You buy the cd supposedly with all the hits from your favorite artist but whomever compiled the cd put a different version of one of the jams on the cd. OR, there is an impressive list of hits on the cd but one or a few of the hits are missing? Maybe the answer is that all of the GREATEST HITS will not be on the disc unless the cd says ANTHOLOGY or THE COMPLETE... Still, what indicates that a version of the love song that YOU grew up with ain't on the disc? | ||

Because Junior Walker and them ALL-STARS REALLY GOT DOWN!! Those of you from back in the day know what I mean, not GET down, but GIT DOWN with the GIT DOWN. I am so happy that I purchased it. My only minor criticism of this book is that Ms. Ali did not mention the smoking gun that points to where the AIDS virus REALLY came from. I call this complaint minor because it could have been that if she had mentioned that information, it could have resulted in a printing "error". Everyone should protect themselves from contagious diseases.If you understand that, you should not get angry at Shahrazad for exposing those brothers fronting. Black women,women of color have the highest AIDS rates,so they must defend themselves and stop this "he/she" sleeping on a dime. THE NEWS IS SAD, THE PROBLEM IS ABYSMAL,BUT NOW THE LIGHT IS ON! | ||
